Kinda a random question:

1) Does anyone know when interview invites are reasonably expected to stop being handed out?
2) Is this the same/earlier/later than dental schools?

I have a friend who has not had an dental school invite yet and was just wondering if she was gonna need to re-apply for next year, or if there was still a chance.

I think the dental school app cycle ends much earlier than ours...so this may be it for your friend. But I could be absolutely wrong 😛 I just know that they apply in May and begin interviewing in Aug. A friend of mine who applied this cycle went to 5 interviews by early september.

Yeah. If you have an animated .gif file or a video file (even if it's on youtube or something I can extract it), those are better to make animated avatars with.

Of course I can always do a slideshow-like avatar like OMBD's old one. It's entirely up to you.
 
good morning all!!
i cooked yesterday! lime pepper crusted tuna steaks that came out delicious!! and so easy. Also my friend is coming over tonight and I am cooking for her once classes are done and then greys anatomy!! lol

how is everyone?

I was not a fan of last season. This season started out fairly strong but I think they are letting the Izzy/Denny thing go on too long. Also, the Callie/Han story line was a total flop... and George is all but written out of the show! They can still finish strong tho!

I fell asleep...blame it on the sickness!

I know Carla is not the best chef but she's my favorite...she'd better step it up!

I cannot go running this morning since I am sore from working out two days ago... but I shall go later tonight after classes... Oh well, I have a bit of homework to catch up on, so it is all good.

I shall miss greys since I do not have a tv, but oh well, I shall watch it tomorrow...

I'm not sick yet, but if I get there, I'll know who to blame!:laugh:

If it's bacterial, at least they know they're going to be happy in my lungs. I've been inhaling super broth for weeks!:laugh:

Does that smell better or worse than Luria broth... I cannot stand the smell of LB and I thank God every day that I am in a virology lab and not a bacteriology lab:laugh:

Finished my z-pac, but I'm still green flim-y. Coughing, but feeling better. I'm much more alive than yesterday.

Upstate came in fairly quickly for me (I think 5 weeks) but I haven't heard a peep from SB since the interview. Can they tell you your status over the phone? If not calling won't really tell you anything. Just hang tight.

And we might be getting a new dog! It's a rescue dog - 2 year old female boxer that's already house-trained, crate-trained, and invisible-fence-trained. There's no adoption fee and it comes with a crate, bowls, toys, dog bed, and a blanket. 👍

She'd be the perfect match for our 4 year old male who thinks he's still a puppy.
