but i can play the xylophone/vibraphone/marimba/instruments with keys that you play with mallets.
 
but i'm sure i'm pretty rusty, i haven't played any instruments in about five years.
 
I'm having a decent day at work - wishing it were snowing instead of raining so that I could be home on the couch.

Shopping for med school is fun. Thinking about all the loans I'll be accumulating to pay for all the shopping - not so much. :scared:

Cool. Yeah, I'll be getting a new computer soon as well. The problem is, they recommend a 32-bit Vista, and all the new computers I'm looking at are 64-bit. I need to ask them if that will be much of a problem.

you don't have to blatantly post pad to get it up. no worries. Just hit up a bunch of different forums and drop some knowledge. There are a few in the URM forum that I like to visit. Or the class of forum is fun too.

This can't be a coincidence right? I called Stony Brook 30 minutes ago to see if they had made a decision yet and they said no.

Now I get an email saying I've been waitlisted. Did I annoy them into putting me on the waitlist? Is that even ethical?!?

Dell has a cool program called Vista Bonus - XP is what's installed and you can "upgrade" to vista when you're ready. This is what I've decided to do - therefore, when/if the specs change to Vista preferred, I'll be good to go.

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Dell, but we've owned them for 10+ years and I've never had a problem. Looking forward to another one.

i feel your pain 🙁 Shoot for 50 posts a day. That is way more reasonable and you won't drive us insane 😆

I REALLY doubt your phone call was sooooo annoying as to turn an ACCEPTANCE into a waitlist! lol thats just funny thinking something like that could happen.
I bet what really went down is that you called them, brought attention to your file...and then they figured it was time to make the verdict.

Unless of course...youre leaving out some important details about that phone call????
 
I just napped another 3 hours of my life away! But I woke up to a rejection from Tulane.

I'm thinking I should just commit to going there and spare myself the agony of waiting anymore.

Yeah that's probably what it is. But I just thought it was odd that they said no decision had been reached when I called them and then, surprise surprise, waitlist.

Haha, I just said that I had interviewed last month and wanted to know if a decision had been made. They asked for my AMCAS ID and told me no decision. Pretty non-threatening I thought.

Yes indeed. And make a thread like this in Pre-DO. Of course it won't be as cool, but you could be involved in both... and surely there are lots of already accepted kids over there too!
