YES!!!!!!

WAITLIST X 2!!!

Oh wait, that's not a good thing is it? 😛

Haha, but as Drizzt reminds me, at least it's not an outright rejection.

Those countries have huge well-funded archery programs and dominated every time. Well, mostly it's Korea dominating, but still.👍

hey we broke your streak on the fairer gender's side :laugh::laugh:

I would rather be a skilled marksmen than a muscly man.

Potassium Iodide may be my saving chemical in this project.

yeah...being a skilled marksman would be sweet...what would you do in close combat though?

I've always wanted to learn some type of martial art (especially Kung-Fu and that Israeli fighting style...not even going to try to spell b/c I would butcher the name beyond recognition)

You mean Krav Maga? I heard that is incredibly brutal and definitely messes up your assailants.

See you next year in Houston, when I come down and visit from Dallas?😳

I never realized that a waitlist form could be confusing, but apparently it can be.

Anyone else holding on to a Cornell waitlist form?

NO SQUID. AND NO PIRATES. AyEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHUAAAAAAAAALGHGHAGHGAGH.

I sooo need to see that still!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
what are you talking about
It's not as cool as it sounds...
yeah, all this weight talk confuses me

i agree! and plus shooting is very relaxing in my opinion. me + gun = 🙂
I took riflery and not archery 🙁
i'm really bad at archery my arrow nearly went into my friend's ankle, like achilles heel! it was really their fault hehe, they were walking too close to the target.
Back everyone! I can see again 🙂
yay!
I don't want to be Arnold, but I'd like some muscles so I can physically survive surgery residency.
umm, so does that mean if i am puny and have no muscles i can't be a surgeon 🙁

Yay! If I remember right, usually 35-60 get off of the 300 person waitlist, right? So that gives you a 10-20% chance... not bad 🙂

Haha, it's not over till it's over...😛
Oh... I thought you said that you were not gonna stay on it for too long... sorry about that...😳

Yah, they are different for each school...

I have Cornell's rejection letter somewhere though...

Better odds than I started out with...meh, who knows.

And yeah, funky, I'm not going to stay on these waitlists indefinitely.

Let's just say by July I'm not going to be on a waitlist and will have decided where I'm going.

oh i just know it's in the movies. i didin't know it was a book.

:bang::bang::bang:

*sigh* The Watchmen is probably the most acclaimed graphic novel of all time. Please read it, you'll all love it 🙂 The movie had to cut some major parts out just to get it down to 3 hours (which obviously is already outrageously long), so just trust me when I say that you'll find the book fascinating, even after having seen the movie.

Where are my pirates?!!?! Where is my squiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid?!?!?!?!

Anyone want to take me to see it?

Lol...so i just got invited to interview at CMS. Thanks but no thanks, maybe 6 months ago!

i thought you are talking about pirates of the carribean.

I have not read the Watchmen, but for graphic novels, I really liked Sandman, Persepolis, and Maus. I also liked Blankets, when I read in in 9th grade, but when I reread it, it was not that good...

Nah, Tales of the Black Freighter is a nice in-book metaphor for some of the developments of the story.👍

As to the squid, you'll just have to read that one.

This is sinful behavior.

Darn... there goes my dream of responding to all of you with just emoticons... in any case, read the Watchmen! (ya know, in case you hadn't gotten that message yet from my previous posts 😀)

And... done!

With everything except my final paper 🙂

:highfive:

Schools are still giving out interview invites?

EDIT: 1700!

Lol...rosalind franklin. I think they refer to themselves as chicago medical school but everyone on sdn refers to them as RFU

Guess so...I got 2 within the last two weeks, but will only be going to one.

Oh ok. I have a friend who's applying to RFU for next cycle. Should I tell her to keep it? (Any thoughts?) I didn't apply there this cycle.

Yogurt and crackers for lunch...

I hope I can eat real food for dinner...🙁

Although I really like yogurt, bananas, and crackers...

To me, 'erf?' sounds like a dog bark. 😳

Don't worry pianola, I got it 🙂

In other news, I finally finished that stupid TEL last night. It took me like two months to get through that whole thing.

Hey did any of you guys take statistics?

I figure I'm on 5 waitlists at this point and have, at minimum, a 10% chance of getting off each of them (I'm guestimating whatever). How could I figure out my compound odds of getting off at least one waitlist?
