I'm so sorry. I don't even know how I'd deal with that. I think I read something somewhere that was like any pregnancy in your late 30s has a 50% chance of miscarrying? Something insane like that???

Yeah, it made me ruminate on my biological clock.

you will do great. The purpose of PARP is to get you up to speed so your adjustment for med school won't be so drastic. Take a look at some biochem stuff, but don't freak over it. Everyone will be at the same level as you so you can struggle through it together. Plus, I can slip you the answers while you are in class 😀

I do think it's interesting that only med students have to wear the short white coats. Residents, NPs, RNs, genetic counselors, psychologists, janitors etc can wear the long white coats. But not med students.

Haha good plan. The worst thing is to put an abstract together and then just never get around to the paper or even make strides to new results...

Probably not moving in immediately. It kind of depends. There are a few things I need to talk about with him. Once you start getting into the 'moving in' situation then you start talking about $$...and, yeah. That's a big step, too.

Yeah, I'm pretty gung ho about publishing early and often and so is my PI, so I think it will be a good relationship!

I basically destroyed the HLA epitope system, bringing it down to one self-epitope. I also reconstructed antibodies to be of one kind, having only two heavy chains and a small variable region. Eeek!

Yeah we really are. Sometimes I take a step back and think "whoa is this really happening?"

Question:

I got pissed off at SDN the other night and asked memberservice (or whatever) to delete my account...now I want back in. Is it alright that I have my ZeusOnRoids name rather than my old name...or would that be a violation of having 2 accounts (even though I am unable to re-activate my old account).
