The only reason I finished the SUNY Upstate Essay was because there was no SDN... and also cuz the deadline was today...
 
It's so quiet in my office today. All of the front-office employees (recruiters) are out, so it's me and the clerical staff in the back.

Should make for a productive day. Time to get started. It's week 6, and i've still got three papers and two presentations. UGH!

So it's less than 36 hours (EST) until October! I figure once we cross that threshold, it's all downhill until the 15th.

YAY! *Does a little happy dance*

I've knocked one paper out and working on the second (the BIG one). The last is just a short review type thing so that wont be bad. About to take a lunch break and return to the grind.

Oh, never mind, but still congrats none the less... I heard EVMS was also telling people early, so that is why. So are you gonna start screening the interviews, or are you still gonna go to all of them?

And thanks for the :luck: LossofWords. I didn't get finished, but I got a lot done. I figured I'll get the rest of it knocked out by the end of the week.

Chili's for dinner.. .it was yum. If anyone hasn't eaten yet, it's St. Jude's Day at Chilis. Go eat and all the proceeds go to the St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital!!

Oh man, is that today? They didn't do a good job of advertising it in my area then. 🙁

I was on Up 'til Dawn in college, so I try to support businesses that give to St. Jude. It's the reason I switched to Coors Light. 😀

Congrats on UMD, funky! It's one of my top choices and I have an interview there on Wednesday.

But right now I gotta focus on VCU - interview tomorrow! 😀 I'm actually really excited and not really nervous at all. I hope I don't get a really tough interviewer!

YAY! Have fun at VCU 😀 And if you get a chance, will you ask VCU how long one can be 'complete' without hearing one way or the other about an interview? 😉

VCU invites all the way through the interview season (they invite applicants until February, I believe), so you could theoretically be complete and not hear anything until February. What status message did you get?

Haha, oh the MAY message... I got it early in August and was since convinced I wouldn't get an interview invite. I thought, well at least they were nice enough to let me know they didn't want to flat out reject me. However, I did hear good news from them mid-September when they invited me to interview! So hang in there! 🙂

w00t! Got a USF interview 🙂 And I thought those guys weren't going to show me any instate love...I've been complete at USF FOREVER. Yay, I'm not last on their priority list.

EDIT: Thanks for the encouragement, Nikki. I just realized I met you in Miami. I did the tour with you and the med student from chicago 😀

Hello all. I hate P-chem homework. Just thought I'd say that. I hate it even worse because I have to hand it in 2 days early since I'm heading to NYC on Thursday. I hope none of you ever have to do P-chem, ever.
