USC is a pretty good school, good clinicals (although you'll get owned hard at County) and pretty chill class. I declined my interview though, working in HSC was enough for me!
 
Dartmouth ended up being in my final top ten... maybe it was especially attractive b/c of all the hot girls that go there, best overall of any med school for that with USC a close 2nd 😀 Hanover was crazy crazy small though and far away from anything.

Nice use of the bottom-top +pad+, I'm still waiting on one WL. It happens to be one of my, if not my single top choice. May 15th cannot arrive soon enough.

I didn't really pursue my waitlists last cycle, mainly b/c I was happy with what I already had... I was leaving the country in June for 2 months and wanted to get everything worked out with housing and everything done before I left at whatever school I was going to.

Drives me kind of crazy sometimes, I have to admit. :laugh: Every now and then I think, "Maybe I should just withdraw from all my wait lists and put an end to this!" But that's just crazy talk.

What drives me crazy are the incessant questions from friends, family, and professors.

"No, I don't know where i'll be going to med school yet!"

(She's playing house while she visits. She almost did my laundry for me today but I told her I'll do it when I get back. I have to admit... it's nice having someone back home to do the random errands and chores!).

Argh, yeah! My parents ask me if I've heard anything every time I talk to them, and I keep telling them I won't hear anything from anyone until right around May 15th, at least!

Tell me about it. I always give the stock answer of x school of medicine with an outside chance of ending up at b school of medicine.

Then depending on how much time is left, I may head to Europe for a few weeks.

I vote barcelona 😀 my 2nd fav city in europe (besides vienna which I lived in for ~15 months)

barcelona is thoroughly awesome. Combination of beach, sun, culture, great food, great nightlife, incredibly hot women (that don't wear clothes on the beach)... what else do you really need? Maybe I will live there. MDs have practice rights in europe, right? 😀 If not, teleradiology ftw!

I don't think I would be brave enough to travel through foreign countries by myself. I had a bad experience on the outskirts of Paris doing just that a few years back.

They can either usually understand spanish or english... I definitely don't know any Catalan... lol

I had fun... I went by myself but met with some friends and family at various junctures...

I wish there was a special lady to take, but it's just me. I do pretty well on my own and have been successful in my travels alone, so I'm not too worried.

Alas, I am free of the clinic for another day. Off to home and then the gym, I shall make my triumphant return after that.

going to TA histology...is the final class before the exam for the students.
