Why is it that I always feel I'm the only person that follows hockey anymore? Its waaaay more interesting than basketball.

I'm all about the RED WINGS. The early 90's were tough but boy did it get a lot better after that. Good thing the Sharks beat up the Ducks a little bit before they face us tonight.

Good luck with those guys. I bet if feels good, to hand them a rejection. The tables have turned, med schools beware.

But hockey is actually exciting, unlike nascar (which is NOT a sport)

100% agreed. There's nothing like a power play with the clock ticking down late in the third period.. heck, nothing gives me a heart attack more than giving up a 2-man advantage in a Stanley Cup final game (that happened more than a few times against Pittsburgh last year... thank God for Zetterberg)

I love golf, one of the ultimate mind games. You must overcome yourself as well as the course. To help with the mental struggle, I have instituted a pass/fail scoring system.

I have found that when you date someone for more than 2 years people start harassing you about getting married... very annoying Let me live people! I'm not getting married!

my wife (gf/fiancee at the time) is the only reason I did well in UG haha. She made me apply for all these scholarships that I though were a waste of time, then I ended getting like $25g in the end... I never had to have a real job during UG and could focus on studies. Also, I knew if I failed then I would fail her in a way too. She motivated me b/c she is waaayyyy smarter than me... she graduated from the Honors Program at OSU in 3 years with a 4.0 and got a full fellowship to pursue a Master's degree 😱👍 I couldn't let her show me up too badly...

Significant other support is definitely invaluable. My SO at the time was the main reason I got all of my applications in promptly. Definitely didn't want to make her mad or disappointed. Plus she was working on them too, so we made a fun contest out of it.
