well, you could get away in flops on a cold day too, depending on your tolerance for cold. i wear them until it's snowing outside 😉

will you be in b-more just for the interview or will you be spending some additional time?

berken, i am aiming for er.. something in the A- range i guess..
there is something about getting an acceptance that makes one not care about classes anymore. they just seen such a waste of time! lol esp chem labs. who cares about whether i know how to do some silly weighted linear regression when it doesnt matter anymore? lol

weak sauce. my prob is that i have a couple group projects this semester and my group members aren't down with getting a C+ or B-...i told them to quit being selfish. ha
 
Funfact about flipflops: pianola cannot wear flipflops because they flop off her feet when she moves them.

haha same here! But i actually caved and am working on the project. That's the one class I'll get an A in 😉

I guess I will just wear my flipflops and wears socks underneath... I am gonna be in b-more for the interview. I actually have my Turkish midterm on Thursday, and my flight comes back Wed night at 10:30, so I will be back at LA by 12... I do not have much time for looking around, since I cannot afford to miss any more class. I think my professors are starting to resent me for missing so much class. 😱

I am out of the running for summa since I kind of screwed up spring quarter🙄, so I am trying to do enough so that I can keep it at magna... I need A's though... GAH!

Is it because you have small feet? I personally like the floppyness... I have actually had to adapt to being able to run in flip-flops...
 
no idea what rainbows are but reefs are awesome!! i used to hate flip flops because they always rubbed me the wrong way until i discovered reefs

yeah i rocked rainbows until this summer when i had to borrow a friend's pair of reefs and found they were so comfortable i immediately bought a pair

for rainbows tho, you need to break them in a bit and then they feel awesome

i live by the rule that you should only go as fast in flip-flops as you can say "flip flop flip flop" with each step.

also, i prefer tevas. rainbows have never fit my fat feet. (and they are such a NC thing too, aren't they?are they as popular elsewhere?)

Its only 7:30 for me, so I have about 2 hours, and then I shall sleep, so that I can feel better, but I am just watching random videos on youtube... 😀
 
mm. i'm just sitting here watching texas get murdered which is kinda sad.

and yeah, i think rainbows are def more of a NC thing. i hadn't heard of them until i came to school out here

Eh, I have always had abnormally large feet for my height...
oh and
Berk, get out of CA and go to Michigan...:laugh:

They are two companies for flip-flops... they are usually sold in Surf shops, although Macy's usually has them also. The UCLA store has a whole wall dedicated to flipflops..

Yeah, I didn't realize that small feet made it harder to wear flip-flops. I'm size 6 or so.

But yeah, they just flop off my feet. Any types. Doesn't make a difference.

thats a little sad pianola.. you shall never know the joys of flip flops... do you literally fall off your feet?? maybe get ones where the tong part reaches further back along your feet?

They are very popular in CA considering the store is in San Clemente...or some other Southern California beach town named after a saint...

I can't quite figure out where I'm going wrong. I can kind of keep the shoes on if I squeeze my toes. But then I start waddling like a duck.

Well, I guess on the upside, I never had a problem with open-toed shoes in chem lab! 😛

Yeah, they literally fall off. I walk right out of them unless I'm squeezing my toes. 😛

I'll have to look into the ones with long thong parts.

Too bad the rest of me isn't model-sized, haha.

This day has been very "productive" for me. I woke up at 5:45, helped my dad make breakfast... I love spanish omelettes. Then I watched Spiderman 3, then the Da Vinci Code, then I slept. Then I watched random videos on youtube, and now I shall watch Thank You for Smoking! Good night everybody!

i woke up with a pounding headache, went to our football game, hit up qdoba and now i'm watching more football.
way too much hw tomorrow tho

No, we actually gain an hour. 😎 We are setting our clocks back one hour so if the current time is 12:15AM, the real time is actually 11:15PM after the time change.
