Yeah, nor did I. I have the diet cherry coke which is not bad.

Do you remember the Diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper? That was awful. It's like they threw all the flavors into one can and made it diet :barf:
 
Two friends helped edit my letter of intent to Mayo, a former lawyer, and a retired adcom, but other aspects of my application were too horrible *cry*
 
I loved diet cherry vanilla dp. the only drink I haven't liked was diet CHOCOLATE CHERRY dp.

And diet mountain dew/surge/vault. blech.

Pepsi twist, anyone remember? And diet coke with lemon... oooh I miss that.

It's basically over at Mayo. I may have a shot at WashU, I might send a letter of interest to them if I manage to get on the waitlist there.

eww diet chocolate cherry dp sounds awful! and you're right, diet mountain dew is disgusting. I loved pepsi twist! I wish they still had that. My new favorite is coke zero. It's the best!

Ohh sorry about Mayo. I have no idea how their admission works. So, have they notified you about being on the waitlist and very few come off the waitlist? Is that why it's over?

Yes he did. He's been very helpful... he sent me an outline of how to "streamline" it. I'll work on it tonight and then tomorrow he's going to see if he can fix it up.

OMBD, anything good on TV? I'm about to go upstairs and watch something with my Dad...

I like it but I don't love it.

My favorite diet sodas:
1. Diet Coke/Pepsi with Lime
2. Diet Cherry Coke/Pepsi
3. Diet Root Beer
4. Peach Fresca
5. Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash

My all-time favorite soda is pineapple soda, but I've yet to find it in a diet version. 🙁

I like Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Mountain Dew, but they're rarely my first choice.

they haven't notified but there are already 2 people from SDN who got in who are east asian. Last year they accepted 3 east asians and it's about that number each year, so the other 1 or 2 east asians probably just aren't on SDN. Assuming I even make the waitlist, it will be very hard to get in off the waitlist 🙁

columbia is 168th and bway and NYU is roughly 32nd and 1st ave, so a decent distance.

thats how i usually feel about most of what i write. sometimes my fears are unfounded but i always ask people who i consider better writers lol. im glad your bro will help you out.

Well I respect his opinion a lot - he was an English major in college and he received a nearly full-tuition scholarship to law school where he is #2 in his class and already has multiple job offers post-graduation. aww.. thank god i finished all my chem reqs last semester. oh. re: the lab report stuff, it looks like the deans are making a bigger deal out of it than the professor intended.. she does not think it was dishonest in anyway, just sloppy (and fine it was, but i was exhausted from interviews).. soo..:xf::xf::xf:

i just watched it!! i really enjoyed it, but it felt really... crunched and pressed for time considering how much material they really had.. i read the book when i was younger and remembered soo many things they didnt mention. but overall, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hey Everyone! Just got home from playing basketball and eating dinner. I'm in a crappy mood...there were two tools playing on the other team and they kept hacking me, throwing elbows and lower their shoulders when they drove it against me. I don't know what their problem was, I think it started when I blocked one of them...these guys were at least 5 inches taller than me. UGH. I was already dead tired after 6 games and they were just getting started so I couldn't do a whole lot to get them back. GRR

haha! Aw man, I forgot about that movie, it looked really interesting. Plus there aren't a lot of famous people out there also named Carson so I support them all 😀

I couldn't find stewart on AMCAS, it's my dream school. So I applied through Stewart's website and sent my check already, I should be hearing back by september on whether if I get accepted or not, that's what the automated paypal email said :xf:

It's my alma mater so I hope I at least get an interview

Huh, family dinner party was kind of fun... We played spoons and uno, and watched WALL-E... not a bad way to spend the night, plus human interaction is not bad...

YAY! Well a few things: Filet mignon sounds delicious as heck!

And the omelets were a complete, total, and utter success. Mr. Nola was so pleased; he thought it was just delicious, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the combination of olives, feta cheese, and peppers I created. It may sound like a weird combination, but it was really pretty great.

And we did a few other things that have continued to solidify our relationship =). Wonderful, wonderful guy.

Gawwwwwwwd....I went to see the third installment of the Underworld series with my brother tonight at the Bridge, which is a movie theatre that is slightly more expensive and far enough from "da hood" that USUALLY it is drama free.

Nothing bad happened...BUT...pllllllllllllllllllllllllllease tell me why there were "baby momma's" with newborns at a late night show!....All I am going to say is "you know you are ghetto if..."

I hate that. Or even worse 3-7 year olds at a late night R movie. I dread dealing with ignorant people at the movie theater.
 
Morning, 2013ers. I guess it's kind of early to be up on the weekend, but I had a stomach virus yesterday and went to bed early. Missed a birthday party. 🙁

I *LOVE* Uno! And I have yet to see Wall-E but have been dying to. Pretty pathetic that I never saw it in the theater.

How was it (aside from the crowd)? Kate Beckinsale (hot as she is) is just awful in those movies, though I liked the first one (and the soundtrack is great). Trying to decide if I want to suffer through her acting again. 😉
