Class of 2013!!!

Me?

In any case, I really hate stressing it, but I have let this go on way too long. Obviously, this it is not a one time thing, which is the reason why I have to do something about it.

Well, no, I was following what I thought was a slippery slope rationale.

Have any of you had to deal with people stealing your food?
Someone has been stealing my food and though I have a good idea who it may be, I do not want to assume anything and cause unnecessary drama. I need to find a way to figure this out and to get back at whoever is doing this. My instinct is telling me ex lax, but I don't want to waste my food in hopes that the thief will strike again. That and I don't know whether the ex lax is still effective after heated/cooked.

When my roommate started stealing all my food, I took a permanent marker and wrote my name all over my stuff.

At my last job, someone kept stealing my food even though I had labeled it. I didn't do anything vindictive (though in retrospect maybe I should have), but I just stopped storing my food there.

Ok so we have visine, benadryl, and ex-l. Which is flavorless, or close to it?

My vote is for ex-lax. I heard Visine is actually dangerous, so I wouldn't go that far.

Note the irony of a group of future doctors plotting to use 'medicine' against the unsuspecting 😉

We're still human so you can't let that ish slide 😛

This is what I would normally do, but I am limited by circumstance, and so I cannot do that.

You could, you know, talk to him about it?
I tried once. He is the only other person who cooks, so the first time it happened I asked him and he shrugged, fake smiled, and moved on. I know for a fact he took my stuff that time because I caught him and he feigned not knowing it was mine. Apparently, the food he took looked a lot like the food he had stored elsewhere in the fridge.

So talking to him again is therefore not an option (aside from circumstance)?😕

I am 99.99% certain he will deny it, though I caught him before and everyone all of our roommates realize we don't get a long very well. The other .01% involves quantum tunneling, but the story is way too long and complicated so I will spare you the details.

Shaken, not stirred.

Good luck, anotherface. I hope the situation works out 🙂

I'm quite close to 1500, so I'll save it for a special post.

freshman year my room mate ate all of my food in the middle of the night. She would crawl under my bed and steal my food. One time I ordered a pizza pie and left the other half in the fridge for the next day. When I woke up it was gone. When I called her out she said she was sorry and came home drunk & hungry and ate it. She bought me another pie 😀 People always stole my food in the dorms.

Aw, see I get the feeling Anotherface's roommate is not the type to buy him new food...

But I sure could do with a piece of pizza right now.

4.5 years for 1k

41 years for another 9k.

Age when done 71.

Yup. Could be dead. Could be kickin. Who knows.

I was going on your current post-rate, which is .65 posts/per day. In order to accrue an additional 9000 posts, it would take 38 years. How did you get 41?

At my current post rate, it'll take me just over 3 years to reach 10k.

I post more than 4.6 posts per day, though! That number is an average and there were long periods of time when I didn't post at all...

4.5 years per 1k = 45 years per 10k, minus 4.5 years for my already posted 1k.

hungry. where's anotherface's pizza ... i gotta get to it
