funky when you came to visit NYC did you see the food carts? A lot of times they have a spinning thing with lamb on it. If you order lamb they shave off pieces of meat as it spins. Pretty cool stuff.

Yes, I saw a few... The spinning ones with the lamb... depending on the nationality of the owner is either a gyro, a döner, or shawarma... (Greek, Turkish, and Middle Eastern, respectively) I did not see a döner cart though...

i should correct what i say. i love lamp IF it is cooked correctly. i never order it in america in real restaurants, they always screw it up. it's sad that food carts can serve juicy lamb but restauratns charging much more serve what may or may not be lamb meat. that is definitely one of my most missed foods, cos you gotta slow cook it to make it good.

i was like what is funky talking about. kumara = sweet potato. maoris eat it a lot and so it has become part of our culture. mashed, cubed, kumara fries are the best though
