I agree with you. However, the cat is out of the bag with regards to everyone in the hospital clamoring to wear a white coat. At this point I'd just as much perfer to wear a decent pair of dress clothes.

Yeah, and my WONDERFUL coworkers that were in the office today (sense my sarcasm) all ran out, leaving me to break the news to our coworker who herself had a stillborn baby.

******s. Ticked me off. Then again, we now know who really cares.

And although it wasn't good at all, it's practice for me to learn how to bear bad news.

She took it a little better than I expected. I stayed and we talked for about 45 minutes, and we left at the same time.

The coworkers that I would do anything for (besides this one I was talking to) all took a few extra days for SB.

I'm frustrated that they all selfishly wanted nothing to do with this, but hopeful that I made a difference.

In other equally sparkly news, Harvard rejected me even though I freaking w/d 3 weeks ago.

And I may have to w/d from a class for which I paid my $1K AND lose my minor in biochemistry.

Also is an ECF of $3625 good, bad or entirely indifferent?

Sorry about Harvard... I guess they wanted to be able to send out as many rejections as possible, so even though you w/d... (hmm, maybe I should check my inbox for my rejection since I didn't apply there :laugh:)

Not bad. From my financial aid days, they take the current top pell payout and subtract your efc, that's how much pell you would get...

Since we aren't dealing pell, I'm thinking you're still gonna qualify for some sub. loans. 👍

ha I got my Hahhhhhhhvad rejection today as well...LOL
 
I want to go home. But I am stuck here at work for another almost 3 hrs! Geez.....

Well...I didn't take any of the prerequisites for it and bear in mind I did double major in humanities areas so I don't even have a 'general knowledge' of bio to make up for it. It's the highest level graduate biochemistry class you can take at UF.

The average on the first test was a 59.

I made lower than a 59.

The teacher said a 70 would be an A.

🙁

Also I'm feeling like I want a break before med school.
 
Yeah 2 rejections in one day sucks.

On the upside, UF did invite me to their second look.

Which I can't go to because I have to take my qualifying exam for my master's degree.

I vote withdraw, unless you plan to do something in biochemistry later. Even then, your new school would probably have better resources.👍
