My buddy who applied two cycles ago told me that Penn's rejection was extremely memorable in that it was basically like this:

Your Name: REJECTED

Nice to see that they've made their rejection a little bit nicer this time around. Also, the PDF version of the letter isn't 2 sentences, its more like 3 paragraphs. Looks like they're saving money on printing and mailing costs!

NYU did that on their status page. It read "Status: Final Decision Pending - all decisions will be mailed on March 3rd" for months until it changed to "Status: Rejected" a few weeks back.

And the actual rejection letter was like two sentences long.

I nearly vomited this morning at the thought of going to school.

And now I have another class. Hope I don't have to think too much. I wonder if the class was cancelled. I wonder if I had homework due for this class.

I hope so. Maybe I'll find that I actually have an electrical plug coming out of me that I can plug into the wall for renewed energy.

Thankfully I am only taking one class a trimester... but man oh man do Monday nights suck.

Yeah, it was pretty brilliant. Lots of layers too, but I loved the "chart." I LOL'd for real at that part.

I've watched it for years. it's a classic! I didn't see that part but I did get to see the "last supper" haha oh my gosh

Yes, I thought it was pretty good inspired and relatively funny. However, I was dissapointed that Kyle was not sacrificed. :idea: According to them losing 90 trillion dollars is worth than death?

I love family guy, but I must admit that the older episodes were better. It seems like they are trying to hard, but that's probably because they are running out of ideas.

I woke up to the Penn rejection... Meh... hard to believe that they were my dream school at the start of the cycle...:laugh:

Honestly we do our best, but there are gonna be a few lopsided ones. Of course, remember there are 16 seeds in these tournaments, so one of these matchups has to be 1 v. 16... 😀

Ya know, last year in the championship match, there were some political ads endorsing one vs. the other (look at the thread here if you want to see examples)... it might be fun if someone wanted to do that again this year 😀

Woah freaking woah. Bacchus donated blood. And, they weren't recruiting my blood type for platelet donation so I donated whole blood. Not recruiting? What the ****? I thought there was always a shortage? My blood type isn't very common, about 6% prevalence, A-negative.

I still haven't met with my professor. The first time I went he was teaching and the second time he was at lunch. I'm going to try again in a few more minutes.

I feel like they always say there's a blood shortage to ramp up donations, but it can't always be true.

My blood type is B+ (I think that's like 8% prevalence).

I'm A+ and when my church had a blood drive a couple weeks ago they wouldn't take our type. There was an overabundance.

Sorry, I got plasma/platelets confused :laugh:
 
I've never been able to donate, due to one reason or another.

When they do the opening checklist, i never qualify.

Either I'm on antibiotics or something like that, i don't weigh enough, etc.

Can't do that from work! May I request that there be a weekend break in voting between the semi-final and the championship so that such things may be prepared?
