for some reason I have had about 4 requests to read personal statements in this past week even though they clearly put me on the temporary hold list... weird

Mine are sporadic. I didn't have any for a while, then I got 4 last week.

I would think the most he'd get is probationary status. It seems really hard to get yourself a genuine ban around these parts...

Honestly, though, I think it's poisoning the rest of pre-allo.

I hope the OP does re-apply next year, it seems like he'd be a shoo-in except that he just made a few tactical errors this cycle.

Sounds pretty good to me! Probably even a whole standard deviation above the mean, which sounds like a B-B+ to me.

Finally! My father just emailed me his tax return so I can fill out financial aid forms. I go through this every year! I don't think we've ever turned them in, but it's not really their fault. They don't live in the US and a company does their taxes for them so it's not my parents being slackers.

I should probably leave work. I'm done, just hanging out in the office, browsing SDN...

Yeah he works for the same test-prep company I work for (same location). He seemed nice when I met him. I don't know if he remembers my sn. I do remember being somewhat surprised at the order in which he filled out secondaries and stuff. At the time I remember thinking a 3.4 wouldn't be bad and I was sure he'd be fine.
