Haha yeah, my friend went to college at RPI and HATED it up there. I would have gone if it were December or so though.
 
Is there a long weekend this weekend? Someone in the lab nextdoor said something about looking forward to a long weekend. I wish I worked in a lab that acknowledged these things. I might try to get a lot done wednesday and thursday so I can leave early on Friday.

It's a long weekend if you get a day off for Easter, I think...

Yeah I know the feeling. I'm still undecided about whether or not I'm going on my Drexel interview. Its so late in the game but I have no idea if I'd go there over DS or not.

My friend gets the day off even though he's not religious. I think it depends on where you work/go to school.

I'm one of the not-so-fortunate ones, haha.

Also, I just don't want to get back into that mentality of having to fret over interview answers and making sure I don't do anything incriminating on the day, etc. I like having that certainty of where I'm going to school in August 🙂

well I'm gonna suggest long sleeves... and shoes that are not flip flops. I know how you Californians feel about flip flops :laugh::laugh::laugh: let them go!


Oh and popped collars. And bow ties. On the east coast men wear a lot of bow ties 😆 this is so entertaining

Save the long sleeves for the fall/winter! Our summers are HOT! (Well, muggy and 90ish, mostly...)

DC is not a popped collar city! Also, only the (really) old politicians and occasional scientist wear bowties.👍

I don't pop my collars, so if I attempt it I have a crease in the collar and thus must put it down. I've started storing my shirts with the collar popped so there is no crease.
