So I got my financial aid package from Downstate and don't know what to make of it. I got a few thousand dollars in scholarships, but the majority of my package consists of unsubsidized loans. O well.

I guess I didn't expect much from them. They had been stressing financial woes since I interviewed. In any case, the privates may still be more costly unless I get hefty packages.

I think we should decree that MD vs. DO debates are worthless. As future colleagues, we need to be focusing on NP and DNP scope of practice debates.

Drizz: quick question for you man!

So tomorrow a friend of mine wants to lift tomorrow...arms.....at 6 in the morning!

I was wondering if I would really be pushing it to lift again later in the day on my own (back & shoulders).

I normally would NEVER EVER do this, but I missed my workout today and it has been over a week since I have had a decent back and shoulder session.

Would me pursuing this particular two-a-day be more of a detriment than a benefit, especially since I would have already killed my bi's in the morning?

I don't think it'd be that useful but it really depends on the intensity. If you lift again late at night and get some rest and protein in between, I think it's doable, but I dunno that I'd bother, personally.
 
I am stuck in lab transferring my Western... apparently I messed up the Standard Curve while doing the Bradford Assay last time, and therefore I added too little protein, which made the western turn out wierd. This time I took my time to do the standard curve...

Oh and I am also doing my molecular bio homework... I miss my nonscience classes from last quarter where I would jux😀 have to stay up late one night and write an essay.

Catchup:
I think C-sections are cool... I really liked volunteering in the labor and delivery department...

I got 3K from UTSW which makes the tuition about either 11.5K or 10.5K which is REALLY nice. But Maryland only gave me 4K which makes their tuition 40K... almost how much 4 years at UTSW will be...😆

I wanna see the cherry blossom festival...

I have not eaten dinner yet, but I had some Mike & Ike.
