I'm not really understanding why twitter is suddenly so popular. I've been using it for years. Where have the rest of you been??

Hm. I can't remember when I first heard of it. A year ago? Longer? But yeah, it really is popular all of a sudden. Facebook's been grown more and more mainstream pretty steadily though (first expanding to more colleges, then spreading through the general public). Is it going to take over myspace?

I think I was on facebook as a freshman... which was maybe 6 years ago... I'm not sure myspace existed at the time...

Maybe I should go watch it... I would never really call myself a Star Trek fan but I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've seen of it (most of the movies/random episodes of the various shows).

Oh, it did. I got most of the stuff I needed done... done. I'm just writing stuff up now.

Ryan Reynolds is, apparently, a huge deadpool fan and wanted a movie made about him since 2003. Looks like he's finally getting it, and I hope they bring about the actual deadpool, and not this films adaptation of deadpool.

Deadpool is my favorite marvel hero🙁 Second of my favorite marvel character they've ruined (Venom is the other).

I've heard that as well; I hope they do Deadpool justice. I understand that they can get a little out of hand with a move like XMO-W with so many characters; but the marquee character should be developed with accuracy. So let's hope that this Deadpool movie will do exactly that and leave what is seen in XMO-W out of cannon.

I'm not even expecting much of anything from that movie. The trailer looked terrible and I don't see them going anywhere good with the story. All I expect to see is lots of explosions (ala michael bay's belief that if you combine anything with fire you get a huge-ass explosion) and...that's it.
