I studied 2 hours and spent an hour playing doubles ping-pong. I'd say that's a fair trade :laugh:
 
It's official! I am changing my status over to "medical student" now...me bringing up the rear of our group!

good times tonight at the Bon Fire...

Tomorrow night...there will definitely be some action b/c MI's and many of the MII's are going down to the gaslamp district...ummmmmm read district of free-flowing alcohol.

The urea cycle killed my last test score, lol. Too much to memorize so I gave up that one....oh well, cell science done! :clap:

And I vote to keep the thread in here...I didn't even know there was an All Student section 😳

I know the feeling!

Although today I was actually able to follow biochem lecture, which was cool. Only sort of followed the statistics lecture we had, but that was partly because none of us like this lecture series, and largely because two other students and I spent class trying to play Starcraft together (we succeeded in the end, but oh the lag!).

I'm not understanding what's the big deal with keeping us out of Allo. There's a fairly low level of activity there anyway. Couldn't this at least be moved into Allopathic Class Threads, seeing as that's exactly what this is?

I was in that spot exactly 1 week ago. Just keep your nose to the grindstone and you'll be surprised at how much you retain 🙂
 
Lol, I think every class is going to have one lecturer whose notes are a complete cluster****.

I've yet to listen to his audio, but the bar is low.

Agreed. I've been having this odd sensation of not knowing anything, yet I'm able to spit out crap loads of enzymes, drugs, mechanisms ect.

GuYs! Labor day weekend approaches! I've never been so excited to have a day off.
 
I should be studying my histo and cell, but I don't quite feel like it right now. I have been wondering why we are still in pre-allo when we are all medical students now.

I have yet to use the podcasts or transcripts. I usually take a ton of notes in class, so I think that's sufficient for now.

I know, but I feel like writing it out helps me retain it better than just listening to the lecture.
