Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
His most popular radio song was probably 'Day 'n' Night' but I like 'Pursuit of Happiness' best.
Me too.
Happy bday Stein!

I am going to a 7 mi run in a few. I need to find an ipod I can borrow...I tortured mine to death 🙁 and now it is no fun listening to my own breath for an hour. lol

Ugh I can't run in silence at all.

I just use my phone as my mp3 player since my iPod passed away.

I had to do that too once my iPod died. It started shocking my ears one day and then stopped working suddenly. Now, I just listen to Pandora radio on my Blackberry. In a way, I like it better because I get more variety in the music than listening to the same playlist over and over again.

Ackk off to class/research lab...

same. i dont think i've even turned my phone on in the last 2 weeks

i use my cell phone as an alarm clock, that's about it

you hear about the guy who survived being trapped after the haiti earthquake for 65 hours cuz of the iphone apps

I love the Fray. So much.

Me too and I'm not sure why. So I'm watching spongebob until I need to get ready for class.

me too, and I love spongebob 🙂

Aaaand while I was looking through these, class started again, so sorry everyone else 🙁 But what is this app y'all are talking about?

But what if that $4 could save your life lol?

lol what would that app tell you that watching a season or two or greys anatomy wouldn't?

apply pressure to the wound. stop the bleeding.

if you are stuck under rubble, information isn't that meaningful. water and food are. let me know when they make an app for that

basically this guy was trapped after the earthquake. he pulled out his iphone and used the first aid app and read that after trauma, you need to stay awake. so basically he set his iphone alarm for every 20 min and stayed awake for like 65 hours until he was rescued

thats so crazy...good for him for staying rational and not panicking in that situation

Yea. Mine is useless...and it demands that I charge it like every day....little jerk phone. I do like it that it has a memory card...that way I can make awesome ringtones out of awesome songs 😀

thats pretty sick, i gotta hit him up when he's in brooklyn (not me)
they usually try to get up and coming peeps for the spring band party every year. when my friend saw the sign for Kid Cudi and told me I was like "YOU LIE! FOR SHAME!" but it was true and that made me happy lol.
I cannot wait for Dooley week, my last one-so I gotta make is awesome!

Anyone know anything about the NHSC Scholarship for med school? I've been debating it and was wondering if anyone knew someone or had looked into it

never heard of it till now sammich, but:

Other types of NHSC approved sites include rural health clinics, Indian Health Service clinics, public health department clinics, hospital-affiliated primary care practices, managed care networks, prisons, and U.S. Immigration, Customs & Enforcement sites.

are you down?

sammich, aren't you going to florida state though? wouldn't you have cheap instate tuition?

Cheap is relative. lol. It's not as bad as most, but it's still upwards of 20K a year in tuition, plus housing and fees and whatnot.

This is the first I've heard of this scholarship, but it sounds like something a scholarship I planned on applying for in Georgia (for rural healthcare).

That's cheap relative to almost everything but Texas.
yeah it's definitely a sweet deal, especially since they'll give me a tablet and PDA to use, but it's still quite a bit of money. Especially since I'm already about 80K in debt

i need to look up some sugar moms to take care of my bills, there's actually a website for that now i think (but mostly to find sugar daddys)

I was going to say 😱, but...

...I guess I knew we have it good, but I didn't realize everywhere else was THAT expensive.😳
