haha, that's a good plan. And true. I know it's not about the numbers, but seeing the numbers change is a nice motivator.

Number change is a good reward until you start seeing visual change.

I usually follow numbers in almost everything, so when I realized it wasn't all about numbers with that kind of stuff, I was a bit disappointed. :laugh:
 
Sammy, I'm trying to lose 15-20 from where I am now. I'll see when I get there. When I was 15 pounds lighter, I was slim but still wanted to lose more. Not sure if it was me being crazy or what.

I mean really good in the dresses today about my current weight but those are made to be super flattering. I want to look good in a bathing suit. Those don't hide anything.

haha yeah. It's also easy not to notice a visual change until a LOT has changed, and even then sometimes only through pictures. When I lost 30 pounds, I saw it on the scale, but not really on me. Then I saw pictures. Plus, looking back on pics in high school (and I thought I could stand to lose a few then) I'm like - wow, I was not as big as I thought..

I like how motivational this thread is lately 🙂 lol

15-20 would be good for me, too. Bathing suits are evil... But that's ideally why I'm doing this too.. moving back to Florida, I've gotta be able to put one on from time to time.

i'll join in your competition too if thats ok🙂 we could make teams then have a point system for "good behavior" or something?(i know a few of you are already having a competition, but we could have 2 big teams or a bunch of small ones). like a certain number of points per day for exercising, eating well, etc?

Shouldn't be too hard to gain weight. You just eat. So easy.

I want to maintain the same/similar BF%, though. Pretty hard in that case. I think I weigh around 180 right now. I used to be 200, but I'd settle for going back to 190.

I dunno how fair this would be. My goal is to NOT lose any more weight despite increase in activity. Sounds ironic but it is hella hard!

Haha, whatever y'all decide is good with me. In other news, even through Fat Saturday-Tuesday, I didn't gain any weight!

Not for me. I can eat whatever I want never gain an ounce. I feel bad for people that eat a piece of lettuce and gain a pound while I sit around and eat pints of Ben and Jerry's. Life is so unfair.
I personally don't think there should be a race, especially when it comes to poundage. People lose weight differently and stuff.

I've been slaking lately with the whole work full time/school full time thing. But I'm pretty lucky that I naturally have good definition. People to ask me flex often...and someone once gave me a welcome to the gun show t-shirt. 🙄

That doesn't really help motivate anyone here and just kind of sounds like bragging, so could you please refrain from how easy it is for you to stay in shape when others have to kill themselves?

Regarding the bragging...I guess you missed the part where I said I consider myself lucky for being this way and that I feel bad for people who aren't. 🙄
 
awww i missed all the exercise talk!! i only did sit ups today.. really need to start running and outside since the weather is not that bad around here but i just wanna pass out after 10 min of running outside!! special thanks tats, sam, pedie, and jackson for motivating i probably left out a lot of others cuz i remember lotsa running happened today good job guys 😀

I also missed the game brook. :/ getting no love for the winter olympics in jamaica. tried to get them to put on the game at a sports bar and the bartender looked at me like I was crazy

There was a Jamaican competing in one of the skiing events I was watching during intermission of the hockey game. They now have no excuse.
