have a good drive! that shouldn't take lon at all. i'm guessing ~3 hours?

Spot on! Nice.

so i just realized that met and i are both gonna be in richmond tonight...yup, i'm a bit slow😛 i'm staying with my friend who goes to pt school at vcu, then we're driving up to charlottesville tomorrow afternoon to meet the rest of out friends. yay for being in close proximity to another sdn'er!🙂

Oh cool.

I'm actually stopping in Charlottesville on my way back on Saturday. I just love that place.

Not much. Contemplating fantasy moves.

👍

We share the same team.

I like Kurt Suzuki, so I'm keeping him.

anybody reading up on iphone os 4?

wooooooooow.

Is that the new phone? I might end up with one of those for med school.

I'm kinda hungry, but I'm kinda lazy. I hate this dilemma. 🙁

I know what you're talking about.

Niiice! We have a mutual like.

Blob has a mutual dislike with us (he's an angel's fan). I do like disliking the same things.

Yeah, I saw that the other night. 👍

Fantasy team is sucking it up today. G. Jones has gotten 2Es already today and single-handedly cost my team a point. Pujols and Ryan (guy hitting in front of Pujols) are 0-for against freakin' Bronson Arroyo. Batters are 1/12 today with 3 Ks, lol

Ouch. Yesterday Arod and Alexei Ramirez were 0 for 8-9 for me. 👎

Gah. Should have let them go bankrupt.

oh cool, we'll be in the same place most of the weekend then! i've actually never been to charlottesville-it's kind of like enemy territory for us hokies haha. i've heard it's a great town though so i'm excited to visit. have a good time checking out vcu again!!🙂

That's really odd that we'll be in the same place for a while.

Hopefully I get to see a lot of what Richmond is about while I'm here.

I once found a hand-written note on the hood of my car that said "Nice park job, a-hole." My car was parked in my parent's driveway at the time.
 maybe your parents put it there?

Although I think some people print out a bunch of infractions from here just because they can.

It was not my parents writing. I recall big, bubble letters...and I've never met anyone of my parents generation that writes like that. Plus, I was parked in the exact same spot I always used to park in at that house. It's one of the world's great mysteries, I say.

if you guys had to move out of the US to any other country, where would it be?

Iceland sounds nice to me.

Iceland used to be high on my list until it died. Now I'd only vacation there.

Right now I'd probably move to Switzerland. I actually have quite the list of where I would go under what situation and why (yes I'm paranoid).

I know it's impossible but I'm reading Crichton's State of Fear, and I was thinking Antarctica. That would be so awesome.

my cousins live in australia and i've visited. its like somewhere i would go if i wanted to be like america but lacked personality and a distinctive future. but that's me though, i dont think i would like to live in any other country of the world.

the quality of life and ease is pretty good in australia though

Mexico. I studied abroad in Guadalajara for a year an it was gorgeous and freaking awesome. They even have a well-known med school there that I was considering if I didn't get in this year. It's 5 yrs instead of 4 tho, eww.

Ireland is supposed to be a good place to live if you are into small government.

word

small government + diverse population is somewhere i would choose. its hard to get that anywhere though, besides here (comparatively for small gov't)
