Ugh. I hate that. Sorry this happened to you. And you know what's worst about it, banks can rearrange purchases throughout the day to maximize the amount of times you have overdrawn.

dang that sux. ive done it before too, and my bank didnt charge me the full amount after i talked to them about it, so u could try it too.

I just keep exteme track of how much money I have and that works really well. If I'm ever in doubt if I have enough, I just use the credit card because I know I can pay it off.

That would have been some really expensive Taco Bell. What could I get for $35 at Taco Bell...

This is the first time I've ever gone over. It turns out my ticket to FL didn't go through when I thought I did so the last time I checked my balance, I didn't realize that almost 200 still needed to be taken out.

So my like $3 lunches and things are now costing me about $300.
 
ok now that that's done gotta get back to today's long to do list :luck:

sammy-- i've had great experiences with TD Bank (formerly banknorth). and i know they're all over boston, 'cause that's where i'm from.

There are three pending for today... You can't still charge someone overdraft fees once they've transferred money into that account! wtf.

Well, see, they can! That's what I was saying before. Banks can rearrange (perhaps, this isn't the right word) transactions throughout the day to maximize the number of times you have overdrafted your account. It's dirty!
 
you should complain that you didn't know after the first time :annoyed:

don't worry. that was one of my first thoughts.

i think with my savings, a few thou from my parents, and my americorps education award, i can get by with taking only $10 or $15 k in loans for the first year. holy MOLY i feel lucky.

I'll be hopin for you🙂. Barring coming off the wl at ucla, I think I'm coming to uc Davis for sure. When you get into ucsf well have to at least grab some celabratory drinks in the area😛

We will be classmates anyways at ucla you know😛. I'm still debating between Uci vs ucd. I just can't decide. If it's ucla it's over I'm going there for sure. But I'm hoping fin aid will clear up Uci vs ucd :scared:

Yeah BU is still my top choice. But I was offered the honors research track at Gtown (fully funded year of research between MS2-3) but I am still pretty sure I want BU. 🙂
