<3 how board prep deals with STis.

"A 19 year old female returned from spring break and two weeks later notices green discharge and dysuria. What is the most likely diagnosis?"

lots of reading between the lines there...

How much do these banks normally cost? :scared:

$300 for 6 months for UW which is the gold standard, I think Kaplan is about the same amount but they were giving away 40% off and I got a 3 month one for <$100. Usmlerx is normally about $200 for 6 months.

not even midnight at your place yet!

on test prep week, there's a thread for each test bank, and if you post in it, you're entered to win a drawing.

To be honest, USMLERx isn't as good as USMLEworld but it's not bad. I actually have this one, UW, and kaplan, so I have lots of ?s to do.

ha, i'll try to win one

i wonder if i can manage 8 hours of sleep in med school.. 🙄

I wonder as well.

I have a feeling I will be more likely to try for 8 hours every night just because I will be putting in a lot more work. I can do my normal lazy stuff just fine with little sleep, but studying effectively and for long hours could be difficult.

just the HPL for UCSF :xf::luck:

how've you been, haven't seen you here for a while..

I only come out at night. Early last week was busy for me, but the next two-ish weeks I'm pretty much chillin.

you probably need to install some software from LG then, usually a variation of pc suite?

I don't know what pc suite is but will a usb driver specific to my phone work? I guess I'll find out soon!

you mean courses? or q-banks? Not very many people use an actual course, but q-banks are pretty much essential if you want to do well.

oh i see, yea the course doesnt usually help all that much anyway 🙂

i used to be okay with all niters in undergrad but not anymore and if i wanna live to see my match day i would need that sleep 😉

Wait, do I need a microSD card? Everything should be saved on my phone memory though.

Float, when do you graduate?

My week between finals and graduation is now completely full with the pre-matriculation service camp for LSU. At least we get awesome drink specials and rented out bars for the week.

met now that your here did you do the needaccess for vcu? do you know when their fin aid comes out? i am soooo behind there and with all other fin aid related matters 😱

no you don't need it, but that would certainly make it easy. if you can find an usb driver it'll probably work too

you should probably at least start needaccess asap, that thing takes FOREVER.

some schools require certain types of cell phones in the 3rd year, so if you want an upgrade with a contract, you should do it soon so the contract runs out before your 3rd year.

did you decide if you're gonna take that road trip to cali?

EDIT: this was directed to met btw 😛

wow so soon! gooood luuuckk :xf::luck:

where do you go to school btw if its not anonymous?

wisconsin (madison)

man the boards are just not nice to kids. This one got kawasaki's disease at 4 (vasculitis that can cause kids to get heart attacks) and then after he got a blood transfusion to save his life, the stem said he got HIV from the blood haha

Um, I had Kawasaki's when I was 2...should I be worried?

at the hospice where i volunteered, we once had a 1 y/o pt who had cytomegalovirus. she was a really cute baby, but she's lucky to have lived that long. poor thing. poor mom too, since it was almost certainly her who gave her daughter the disease, freak incident.
