Not really. I think I will just tell my friend to take as many days off as he can get and we'll figure it out from there.

It's kind of hard to plan road trips when you have to study for tests, read books and write papers. I'll get back to planning on Tuesday.

haha, i'm killing two birds with one stone... just finished the block though, did remarkably well given the circumstances, i.e. laying in bed, glass of wine, sdn, 88%, I'll take it! haha

I took care of my financial aid stuff back in February. I haven't updated my FAFSA with my tax stuff yet. I'll go do that now.

yeah, cmv in neonates is bad news. Actually all sorts of diseases that aren't really that big a deal in adults (a lot of them are stis) such as herpes, toxoplasmosis, gonorrhea, e. coli, etc, are pretty deadly in babies.

Where are planning on going to in Cali?

I'm planning on hitting up Vegas for a few days and then camping (maybe near the Grand canyon) for a few days with a couple of friends.

yea, the baby seemed fine, real friendly too. the nursing staff took care of her for a while when the parents/grandparents had to go get lunch. we all played with her, she seemed healthy, but the doc said she probably won't live much longer since she's having multi system failure or something like that.
 
that reminds me of the tour guide at vandy, she's doing pediatric palliative care. i was like wow, that's gotta be really hard. i had no problem dealing with dying elderly patients, but it didn't feel right with the baby. i sure as heck won't do any pediatrics, let alone pediatric palliative care.
 
I have officially hit a wall on my paper.

I only have 1/2 a page left after I wrote my fluffy conclusion. I wonder if 4.5 pages is good enough for a 5 page paper. It is technically on the 5th page... What say ye, 2014?

Yeah, it's really pretty freaky bc CMV is one of the most common diseases in the world, like 90% of people are seropositive, and you can only pass it to babies if you get infected for the first time during pregnancy... bad luck.

i always stop when i REACH the 5th page, sometimes i even count the citations :laugh:

What happened to the other .5 page? It's also MLA format to double space the heading, if you didn't know that already.
 
Just try adding a couple of sentences here and there in the body. Put in some fancy prepositional phrases. Use the word "utilize" instead of "use" if you have to.

I have a lot of shows to catch up now on my DVR, including a marathon of Deadliest Warrior that was on today.

It's a lot easier to slack when you only have 3 classes and can get 2 Cs and an F in them and still graduate. :laugh:

I will go back to my performing my best this Fall. Or maybe I will be trying my best for the very first time, actually.

Got my car serviced and read a good bit of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." So... My weekend was more relaxing than it was interesting. Did you do anything exciting this weekend Pedie?

I watched Season 8 of Friends... Almost done!

Played a lot of raquetball and tennis to enjoy the weather! Exhausted my going out on weds and thurs so stayed in this weekend.
 
Now I understand how you guys had such a hard time picking between schools. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it is! 4 important years of our lives...

Nice! I forgot to mention that I watched a lot of Law and Order :laugh:. Gosh, I love that show. I hardly have time to watch it anymore.
