6 wins this week, with 3 more starters pitching. let me get niiiine

wainwright vs pit sunday = win
bucholz vs nyy saturday = loss?
matusz vs min sunday = probably a loss?

You want drama and excitement, the NHL playoffs are amazing this year. Of course, you have to have cable w/ Versus to watch them (usually digital cable).

That's sick. How's your ERA, K's, etc?
 
currently 5th in the league in Ks
1st in ERA (2.85)
3rd in WHIP

FSAPs rotation is better, but i probably pitch 7-8 pitchers and maintain that ERA, so i cant hate
 
yea man. if i ever put my parents in a nursing home, i would have the atlanta braves take care of them, just because i know they can't hit old people
 
Dammit :bang: someone in *** (confidentiality thing) broke the system area network that holds our Dev & QA databases. We've got redundant backups... but until the SAN's fixed I can't access them = I can't get my job done 😡

At least that means boss can't blame me :laugh:.

But this is why I love the people I work for/with - they are pretty damn smart (well, in my group anyway). They repurposed one of our old, old servers from pre-system upgrade to act as a gateway for the production environment so the users can still use the system 👍

I'm definitely ok leaving my company in June now - my division was kinda lacking technical expertise when I started and we've been building it up and doing internal training etc. over the last 2-3 years; and damn are they bad ass now. *sniff* they are all grown up and don't need me to back them up anymore 🙂. It's a nice feeling to know I'm leaving the system in great hands! 👍

Okay, seriously, WHAT THE HELL!

My room is still 78 degrees!!! I've left the door open for the last 6 hours to circulate air, and it even dropped to 76 a while ago and now it's back up. I really don't get this.

I just finished sophomore year and I've already e-mailed and called AMCAS with questions.

Turns out there is such a thing as a 3.9 and it will show on my application.

Yeah, I don't remember it being that complicated. 😕 I also don't know how you guys can answer such specific questions about it. I barely remember what I filled out!

I'm just trying to help. I figure maybe now I can put my boredom to good use since it's app season.

I don't really answer the uber specific questions. Some people are just really crazy about it. Just chill.

Well it's 4 years old, so I'm hoping to get a new one this summer before school starts. It also reheats pretty easily.

Yeah, I'm going to stay away from all of that. I basically answer a couple of types of threads: class scheduling, majoring in chem, shadowing, and some other EC stuff.

Mine is 4 years old, too. I would like to get a new one before med school (even though I get one for med school), but we'll see how that goes.

I feel so traditional when I post in that thread, there are like 32450846 questions I can't answer because I had the most normal undergrad to med school app experience ever, pretty much.
 
Ok I'll discuss the discussion question then. I think it has to do with the beat (how many, i.e. time signature) and the tempo. Maybe also something with the heaviness of the bass.
