Well, I caught on to that. But the problem is that I just don't have the money to buy her flowers right now (and her cats might eat them). :laugh:

It is on and works correctly all over the apartment, just not in my room when the sun is shining on the window. That's the problem. But I only have a couple days left so the fan can help me. I have a feeling I will be a lot happier when I move back home.

I hope this nice weather sticks around for a couple of days. :xf:

pick them from the plants @ the park - apparently it has an added romance factor to it (just don't tell her you did it because you were broke and you are all set 👍 )

edit: it's not like I know this information from personal experiences of being broke and needing to get my gf flowers or anything like that... /shifty eyes

True, I just happened to miss it. It kind of bugs me when all the games in a series are competitive yet the results are so lopsided. :laugh:

Speaking of that, the Sharks' wins were 4-3, 4-3, 4-3 and 2-1. Their only loss was 7-1. That's a -2 goal differential, yet they won the series 4 games to 1. That's kind of odd if you think about it. Dominating victory if you look at games, but not at scores.

thats too bad about baylor, does the WL move decent there? I guess we really are in the same situation now...waiting on one school lol. At least for me UCLA has good WL movement apparently so im defiantly optimistic! Hope its the same for baylor.

Baylor usually has good WL movement, but they do overaccept by a good bit. It all depends on how much the ranking drop and financial issues affect the acceptees. Hopefully a lot. Plus, Baylor lets you wait to deposit money for your spot until May 15th - meaning it could go either way. We'll see.

I try.

I've always wanted to catch an Avs game when they come to Dallas, Nashville, or Atlanta but it never works out at the right time of year. Plus, they never play Atlanta and the Dallas games used to be sold out constantly.

I don't know if any of you guys watched the Wings game, but Bertuzzi got called for elbowing which was just a regular hit. Franzen got laid out with an elbow to the face and no call. Flippula got kneed on a hit that was a blatant attempt to injure him. The game could've really gotten out of hand had the wings not been in a situation where they needed the win. Also notice how the Sharks had a huge advantage in powerplays and 5 on 3's. The wings aren't a dirty team and they play disciplined hockey. The wings didn't play well enough to win the series, but it doesn't help that they are playing the refs and the sharks.

I watched it, but not that closely.

The hit on Franzen was definitely a penalty, though.
 
and any call against Bertuzzi is a good one.
