Yeah - 5 games at best. Probably a sweep. When Leighton finally gives up a goal and realizes he isn't as good as he thought, he will be like wtf?

True, but at least the NHL had AMAZING first 2 rounds. I don't think there is an expletive out there to describe how crappy the NBA playoffs have been. Just horrible - and now there are only 2 series left (which are crap), but they will give 3 days between games? Why do you need 3 days? Plus, we're going to get that crappy finals matchup from 2 years ago.

I completely agree with you about the nba playoffs... a huge bust.

But I could see the finals going 6 or 7 games.... again, whoop dee doo haha... it's just not the same as kobe vs. lebron, something we may never see unfortunately

our grad week was crazy too....stuff to do every night!

haah PR was completely worth beggin my mother and tradin the ipod touch that was to be my grad present for. Rum flowed freely 😀
I bought some duty free and made mojitos with it last night....delicious!

Nice. I would have taken the trip, too. You can buy an ipod touch with your loans. :laugh:

I wanted a trip for graduation but then my computer started crapping out so it wasn't much of an option.

haha the trip was also a great source of some ridic pictures..."whatever I'm already in MedSchool" has become my default judgment on the more ridiculous stuff lol

Ugh... I have to agree. None of these games have really had many memorable moments; the best series so far has been, what, Lakers-Thunder? Even the six game Cavs-Celtics series, the last two games were decided by 50 points. But there's some hope that Suns-Lakers could provide some excitement, so I guess we'll see.

I guess it just kind of feels like everyone is starting to get tired of the Kobe/Nash/Garnett/Duncan/Shaq/etc generation, but so far the LeBron/Durant/Melo/Wade/Bosh/Howard generation has been unable to deliver.

Meh. I think a competitive series would be interesting... but yeah, that would basically be a replay of what we had two years ago, only all of the players are a little older.

FYI, one of my friends just used this as their learning issue for our problem-based learning class. Can you tell that this is one of our last sessions, and even the profs don't care that much anymore? 😀
 
looks pretty promisiong that kobe will get #5 this year, #6 next and probably 7 before he retires

Not at all.. that's weird. There was a registry drive at my school a couple years ago which is when I signed up.

okay, good to know that my bs-radar was on target. maybe it wasn't the real registry organization. i really wanted to do it but the $50 or whatever turned me off.
 
So my stuff is supposed to be delivered today... and I paid extra for inside delivery...and the guy just called saying he'll be here in an hour or so...and then told me they're not allowed to help bring stuff up the stairs.....and we don't have an elevator... why the ef would I have paid extra if I had an elevator?...

I'm on the 4th floor, and they're all outside steps.

And my roommate is not currently around to help.

Aggh, ef my life.
 
if you are a match the receiver might pay for your registration fee and the procedure + a fee

if you are trying to make money, i would go with laying the egg

There should be no registration fee.

Plus, the company pays all medical and travel expenses if you do donate.

I actually like the celtics in the potential finals matchup. And it looks like bynum might get shutdown, which means minutes for Josh Powell... Which is bad news for the lakers.

I was going to run yesterday, but the heat convinced me to stay in, turn on the AC, and nap most of the day 🙂 It's just over 90 degrees with no wind right now. I'm hoping it cools down a bit later...it probably won't.
