yea...i read that it is much worse for adults. im so glad i had it when i was little..but even so, i have a scar from one of the pock marks 🙁

shingles are pretty terrifying to me...but u gotta be somewhat immunocompromised (or really really stressed out) for breakout to be likely

tis true, shingles is more common in elderly and immunocompomised. there is a shingles vx but its terribly expensive and medicare doesn't cover it for most old folks.

lol thats pretty funny...around these parts...if you say you go to Emory...people automatically say "oh you are going to be a doctor!?"...like the whole liberal arts doesn't exist here lol

yeah, i have found that in general, most people are NOT aware of the process of applying to med school and how it is different from other grad programs. major...we should make up majors for med school.

one of the guys i work with asked me what i was going to medical school for haha...but its understandable. No one would know what this process entails unless they have been through it or were interested at some point in college. Which isnt a lot.
 
superbowl in NYC in 2014, i think i just found out what my graduation present will be. Maybe i can interview at some random nyc residency so i can have a reason to go out there haha

For all things your immunity actually drops slowly over time if you aren't repeatedly exposed (that's why they give booster shots). It won't be completely gone, but if the antibodies are under a certain level they make you get a booster.

ohh i didnt know it was there. You know maybe ill be extra nice to myself and buy both...wonder if i can convince schools that this is a necessary expense to take out some loans for my last year...😀

maybe i can interview for residency in brazil:laugh:

I basically sat on my computer and identified the low point of the market and invested then. hopefully it continues to pick up tomorrow

its around 40 now, 30 is a 25% drop (which indicates the market drops ~ that number)

its been widely reported that BP doesnt suffer economically from the oil spill much

Is this was true, couldn't I just put my money in any equity and it would roughly track the market?

(Almost) everything is overpriced right now, and I don't think this little correction is big enough. S and RIG had good days, though.

Edit: Whoa. Didn't realize S closed at $5.30. Even better...if only I had some money to burn 😉

i like to put money in leading stocks that are trailing the moving average and is lagging behind the market for short term gains. if you set a limit + diversify (and read the futures reports before open), i think things usually turn up okay.

i do think the market is in a correction mode, but that kinda means possibility of short term gain
