hey! the people in my class seem pretty cool so far. i forgot how awkward and repetitive introducing yourself to lots of people and saying where you're from/what school you went to a million times is though😛
 
Final stages of packing. Moving down to Philly tomorrow. Going to be a crazy couple of days... but got party plans for the weekend already - so there's something to look forward to!

Man... school's gona start soon. As a good buddy of mine would say (SC2 reference): "Hell... it's about time"
 
I love breakfast food. How do I know? because I just had a crapload of it and it still tastes good every time.

and yea - I'm moving in at 10pm tomorrow night (don't ask why). I'll need all the luck I can get - hopefully I won't get shot on my first day moving into philly. That'll suck 🙁

Ouchies - I was cleaning off my tortoise's food dish and a dried up mango skin went really far under my fingernail. :boom:

Now I can only imagine how painful that ancient Chinese torture technique of shoving bamboo under fingernails would be. :scared:

Damn... how much stuff to i have?!! This is like 30% more than the stuff I moved home from Jersey City. And I've only been home for 2 months .. wth 😕
 
Yeah, moving sucks. I'm hoping to not need to move again until residency. Especially since I don't have a trailer anymore, so it would actually cost me money to move this time.

That sounds very painful! I've been getting injured a lot lately with the whole moving in provess. Last night, I smushed my toe after I accidentally knocked one frame over, and in a dominoe effect, three more frames tumbled down on top of my foot.

I feel the same way, but it's books for me. I have so many books. It's ridiculous, and I didn't want to leave any of them in storage. So I will just have piles of books all around my apartment until I go out and buy a fourth bookcase.
 
Oh my gosh, I seriously do need to learn Spanish. I mean, I knew that I would need to be familiar with it, but people keep trying to talk to me in it. I have no idea what they're saying! Ahhh... Any tutorials you recommend? Anyone know if Rosetta Stone is worth the money?

Not really sure. Rosetta Stone might be unnecessarily expensive for you at this point. Maybe like Spanish for Dummies or something?

this is why you should've been an engineer. We don't read books 😀 I'm bringing a total of 0 books to philly. I won't even have a book case there. I'll just put my few med school textbooks on top of the dresser and that's that :meanie:

Then again - instead of your books I'm bringing 2 (yes, two) desktops, a laptop, 50" plasma tv, 5.1 sound system, PS3, Wii. So instead of books... I bring electronics 🙁 I guess being an engineer isn't a solution either eh

rosetta stone is electronic. Which means it could theoretically be er... acquired. 😉

Although I'm sure I have no idea what I'm talking about. But yea RS is pretty expensive 🙁 I was considering it to learn spanish too. Damn - should've picked spanish instead of french in high school 🙁

Yeah, it is super expensive. And I guess I probably won't have the time to go completely through it. Hmmm... Spanish for Dummies may be worth a shot.

When I moved into my apt, it was a lot of school supplies I've accumulated over the years. Do I need a drawer full of free pens and a variety pack of Crayola markers? Why yes I do. Also I have a crapton of clothes. 4 seasons=need to be prepared for anything.

Hahaha I had to clean out my old school supplies for that same reason! Man, I think I may be a borderline hoarder. :laugh:
