Yep, it went great! Everyone was sooo nice! It's actually a really good fit for me because they hugely emphasis collaborative learning and a noncompetitive atmosphere, which is what I'm used to in my tiny undergrad... first two years pass/fail don't hurt matters at all. Everyone was just so chill.

Yeah, he was pretty cool. I'm assuming you sat in on the 2nd year lecture then since he's like their pathology coordinator. He was telling me about it and such.

For sure. I was amazed at some of the stuff that they have/do just to keep their students happy.

Just wanted to raise awareness that it was 4 years ago today that Hurricane Katrina made a complete mess of New Orleans that still isn't completely fixed and took many lives. It's sad that people already forget this event and how much damage was caused and 1800 lives were lost.

And another thing, why didn't Obama come to New Orleans for today (I know he's on vacation, but...)? I'm sure he'll be in NY for 9/11, so why not come to NOLA for an important anniversary? 😡

you know, sometimes i want to be a plastic surgeon. i would rather be one of those microscopic surgeons that does like the facial reconstruction/transplant work but sometimes i think it would be really cool to do breast augmentation/enhancement on your friends. like how sick would that be? pretty cool. its like bypassing midlife crisis. you cant hate on that type of life
