Today was my last day in lab. My PI was just like "ok, your stuff's in the way. I need it out of here by the end of the week." It was totally without warning. If you knew my PI, though, you'd understand.

So, instead of waiting, I just packed everything up today and moved out. Now I need to finish writing my thesis so I can be completely outa there!

WOAH! Should we be hearing from schools that fast? Some of my stuff has been out longer! But when I check status it says I'm still being processed!

I don't know why, but 12 schools still haven't marked me as complete even though all my stuff was sent out over a month ago 🙁

I actually did today, and 2 schools changed my status to "complete"
but very many said "DON'T CALL US, WAIT FOR AN EMAIL" in a very scary tone lol :scared:

I'll probably be calling the less angry ones again a few days 😀

Well I'm free all morning and early afternoon so we could either do 12:30 or Friday at 1:30 or next week sometime. I'm not picky. Also, if you want to go some place where I can use my multitude of scholarship-provided Paw Points, I'll treat. I always have 50 bajillion left at the end of the year. Faculty Club? Magnolia Room? Tiger Lair? Dining Hall? Or we could go somewhere else if you want.
 
Roadtrip to DC starts tomorrow, gl with interviews this week guys

12:30 Thursday sounds good - the Paw Points thing is usually the best option, seems like many people have that problem at the end of the semester. Not a dining hall, unless there's been some phenomenal improvement in the last 2 years. :laugh:

459 is a lot better, but I still don't feel like a dining hall either. I'm a big fan of the faculty club and the magnolia room. You have any preferences between the two? I usually like the variety of the faculty club better, but the magnolia room is buffet-y which I also like. You pick.

I've never been to either - do you know what the Magnolia Room generally has on Thursdays? because I've heard it's different stuff based on the day.

Yeah, it's different everyday. This is what the dining website says will be there on Thursday.

How about you pick since they're your points, anyway? I can manage either one, whichever you prefer based on menus, etc.
Weird how we go to the same school and I don't think I've seen you since Organic Lab. :laugh:

I don't like picking. 🙁 I went to the Faculty Club today for lunch so I guess the Magnolia Room would be a bit better, but I could always get something different at the Faculty Club if you wanted to go there. And yeah, it's a pretty big place. :laugh:

unfortunately no, there was an issue with ordering tickets while in a required lab :laugh: cause it sold out within the hour...I have friends sitting in 39AA, I'm so jealous...

Everyone here supports the buckeyes 100% of course, but we try to not get our hopes up or talk too much trash after the past few years...
