im not in school but id imagine thatd be stressful. i just feel bad how many days ive had to ask off from my family...ive only been their nanny for a week and ill already be missing 6 days over the rest of the month!

hey guys, so I wrote on my AMCAS for future courses that I was going to take Immunology but the class is full, and I got kicked out from waitlist. So I signed up for Intro to Neurobio, do you guys think this is okay? They are offered by the same department, and I need one of them to graduate.

I'm not gonna lie, that semester of interviews was killer. Luckily, winter break will be the best break you ever have cuz you'll have earned it 🙂

Don't worry about it; I completely changed my fall semester schedule after I submitted and it never came up in my interviews.

weren't you guys trying to figure out who would be the first to get to 10 or something?

When you're putting the classes into AMCAS it mentions that whatever you put down isn't binding. You should be OK.

Honestly, I'd love to push back the interviews for non-rolling schools (if I get them, of course) to winter break or later. I don't see how I'll be able to fit in many more without dying.
 
yeah i'm definitely starting to die, too. i'm thinking about dropping a class to minimum units or cutting back heavily on my research schedule...

dude missing one MCB lecture just ****ing kills you. I already missed 3, no idea what's going on.
 
Just met with my thesis advisor. He doesn't know how to solve this problem either. If a guy with a PhD in math that knows all sorts of math tricks is lost, how the hell am I supposed to figure it out?????

I think I might actually do this, even for some rolling schools. I'm thinking about scheduling any other midwest/east coast interviews for the week after Christmas.

So far I've got:

UCI/WF at the end of this month.
Pitt/OSU at the end of October.
A research symposium (3 days of missed school) in November.
Case/CCLCM yet to be scheduled.
UCLA, which should be OK because it's a 1 day thing.

I have no idea where to fit Case in, but at this point I'm thinking it's gonna be winter break. You guys think that makes sense, or am I pushing it too far back?

Wow! Everybody's getting some great news today, it's nice to see things moving again.
And I have an LSU-NO interview finally 🙂, so I need to figure out when to schedule that. I think on a Tuesday, to give me a break from that stupid day of classes from 9-3.
