Ok so so a few ?s as a class of '14-er:

1.) I can't decide between med school and D.O. help me!

2.) I have a 3.3 GPA. If I get a good MCAT score and do really really really really really really really well next semester do I have a shot?

3.) How long til I make at least $100,000?












....... I figured as long as there were jokes I'd throw some in 😀

What the hell? When I posted yesterday, the thread was on the second page. Right now I check, and it's on the ninth page.😱
 
i held my ground against like.... six orcs and i was barely able to do it.
 
Holy crap, 9 pages already? And most of us haven't even taken the MCAT yet! lol
 
Damn these 2013ers. Most of them are into medical schools and laughing at us in OUR house.

From what Ive gathered DOs and MDs practice medicine very similarly. DOs do a lot of preventitive medicine and concentrate alot on muscloskeletal aspects as well. You should also try to check out the DO forum as well to get really detailed.

If you ace the MCAT you definitly have chance. A lot of people say the MCAT is very good at counter acting a lower gpa.

Not sure about the money thing. But good luck man.

where are you CLASS OF 2014 shouldn't you be up already. there are lots of things you need to be doing including:
1. studying for the mcat
2. studying for classes
3. filling out your amcas application now (it will be too late if you don't start it within the next week)
4. writing your secondary essays (i guess within the next too weeks won't be too late, but the earlier the better)
5. oh and saving the world

i'm sorry. i don't think you are living up to our standards

Just when I thought the 4-7 AM time-frame would be our chance to seize back our thread. . . and 2013 still beat me. You guys are relentless

Maybe we (2014) should start a new thread and entitle it jfkajt;hgdavcdh. That way, 2013 would never suspect where we were, and we wouldn't have to worry about this incessant trolling. . . although, thanks to them, we are on pace for a 5 or 600 page thread by the time we matriculate
