issues of civil rights. if homosexuals cannot get married they are second-rate citizens, and that is unconstitutional.

a debate on this would be worthless and against the spirit of this thread, so I'll just leave it at that.

As for Bored to Death, that's why I don't see it. I don't have HBO 🙁 so I'm stuck with getting into Curb through DVDs. But it has totally been worth it!

Oh man, I just noticed that my new lab has a toaster oven! I'm going to be using that every day at lunch.

where you working now?

i think im just gonna move back home and keep teaching and save somewhat aroudn the same as i am now (which is close to nothing) when i wont have interviews

A lab in the dept of surgery. Pancreatic cancer research. All this cancer stuff is new to me.

What do you teach?
 
i teach a pretty large post bac program the physical sciences. im also employed by a professional test prep company against contract rules and i do private tutoring (and i overcharge, its not real private tutoring, i tutor like 4 ppl at a time each around 40 dollars an hour so its good money)
 
holy crap. $40/hr for private tutoring. Yeah man, make sure you don't let Kap...err that test-prep company find out 😉

I have genetic mutations swimming through my head. I can't keep track of all of them. I guess I don't really need to. My job is just to do mouse surgeries and help out with procedures around the lab. It's so easy, but I think I'll be able to learn a lot. I work with a surgery resident, and he knows a ton about all these cancer processes.

What kind of cancer ciello?

sounds like a pretty sweet gig you've got going. it's ovarian cancer, some prevention stuff. i'm supposed to do all of the mouse experiments, but we're having ordering/breeding/time issues.

i really don't recommend a potato masher. you can just pour it into a regular blender, though. and i actually recommend adding three skittles during the cooking process. sweetens it up the perfect amount

well, actually i'm both. theoretically i'll be taking over 90% all the in vivo stuff, but still keeping ~45% of the total cell culture and biomolec stuff as well. should be thrilling... 🙄
