He convinced me because it was supposed to be cheaper in a 3 bedroom. With all the extra crap we pay now, it's about the same and I liked the old place better w/o his cousin.

Only plus to the new place is it's bigger. Oh well, only until May.

no, i'm not. i either directly and politely ask them to clean if they're home, or i do it myself. i'm not passive aggressive-- i basically lived on a commune last year and any passive aggressive roommate tendencies were beaten out of me pretty quickly :laugh:

I am very big on cleanliness and personal responsibility. I repeatedly asked one of my freshman suitemates to stop leaving his dirty socks on my bed and dirty dishes in the common room, etc. After failing to comply after many polite efforts, I responded by placing everything that was in my area or unclean and cluttering stuff on, on his bed. That way it'd have to be taken care of before the day ended.

Yeah, that's kind of a jerk move, but when you find a used condom on the common room couch, that's when I become a bit more of a jerk.

Well, they've been doing it so long and making the time earlier and earlier every year, so they figured this year they'll start resting up for the playoffs now.

Holy crap! The guitar I've been trying to build for almost 2 years is finally shipping to my house! I've actually lost track on how much money I've spent on it so far. Here's a picture of the unpainted body with awesome LED lights on the neck.

head kinda looks like ibanez.. the body looks like a bass they make.

The body is an Ibanez Joe Satriani based style.

Thinking about painting it glossy black (I already have lime green pickups for it).

maybe there's an angle to the pic but doesn't look much like the satrianis... but then again the one i'm thinking of is a circa 99 model with the built in handle... that was a cool axe. gloss black with lime green? yikes. props to you if you can pull that off...

edit: also, interesting pickup layout it looks like.. not super up on guitars, but seems like twin humbuckers and a single?

The one you're thinking of is probably the Steve Vai JEM with the monkey grip. I have one of these - it's my favorite.

I laid down on my bed thinking I would just close my tired eyes for just two minutes, and now I have accidentally slept for two stinking hours. I hate this when this happens.😡

ibanez always did do some experimental stuff with materials... i wonder if they still make basses with that weird plastic

Yeah, I don't have the dough, but they are awesome for that jazz and funk. Plus, I always wanted to jam out to some Primus with a fretless Warwick.

I remember Ergodyne - those were really cool. I wanted one.

I need to really get back into guitar again. Med school crap this summer and such has taken me away from my passion.
