Yeah, usually MSTP is more compeditive, but you're guaranteed funding at all MSTPs and they usually have more slots.

Don't get me started on UVA's MSTP admissions process. Let's just say that they held on to my app from Sept, when I was complete, until March, when they turned my app over to the med school. By that time, the MD program was finished with interviews, so I didn't have a chance. Yes, I called, and emailed, and went to the admissions office and they still didn't decide to reject me until March.

hey everyone.

quick question. if you shadow a lot of diff. doctors do you put it all under one activity in the "wok/activities" section and explain? i thought it would be best to classify it as "excurri activities". any thoughts?

p.s. i have finalized my school list. decided to take off George Washington and Georgetown b/c the secondaries are $100+.

I grouped all of my shadowing under a "Shadowing Physicians" activity.

I would categorize it as "Other" and I would group ALL of them together into one slot. if for some reason you run out of characters, cut the c**p so it does fit into one slot

if you ever get to see Kanye live, spend the $100-$300. That one hour is well worth it. Most amazing performance I have seen, he really pours everything into it. I agree w/ Rolling Stones about him being the best musical performer of our generation (if MJ was before our generation)

I hope after I get into medical school this year I don't spontaneously transform into a huge loser with no life that tries to compete for the "top" post (with unfunny symbolism courtesy of Google image search) in a 150+ page thread and say things like "class of 2014 pwns you!" or "too bad you 2015ers aren't as good as us 2014ers!!!!@" or some other such *****ic thing ad naseum.

Sorry, I think not. Dude got booed off stage at Bonnaroo last year because he came on 2 hours late and fans were tired of his crap. The following act (a relatively unknown guy) was cheered for making fun of Kanye and saying that he doesn't care about his fans, except for the money and respect they bring him. I don't want to start a music war because everyone has their own opinions, but he is not a great live performer - no rap artist is (musically at least).

It had good points but it was redundant. It could have easily been summed up in 3 minutes without losing the point. Also, I don't like that kind of cartooning.
