I'm just ecstatic about Wake.
My other screened ones, I have no idea about though.
I would die if I got one from either Vandy or UNC.
....my house is not wet anymore, but my parents are not happy and I won't have hot water until tomorrow (maybe)
 
So my laptop finally blew out, and there is no way I'm using my netbook as my primary computer. I'm gonna buy a comp tomorrow.

A desktop or laptop, that is the question. I just need something to last me one year before I buy a high-end laptop for med school next year. What do you guys suggest? I want to spend as little money as possible on this temporary computer I'm gonna buy tomorrow.

If you're going desktop, I have no idea.
But if you're going cheapish laptop, buy a Dell. Mine's never really given me any (hardware-related) problems and works just fine. They have somes pretty cheap ones that work really well for what you'll probably want.

If you want to go cheap, definitely go with a desktop.
 
there's also quite a few laptops (hp's, toshibas, dells maybe) that are around 400 bucks

Agreed. I hate secondaries too. It's hard to rehash stuff, I find myself crafting new essays for every freaking prompt. 😡

Haha, either is fine. When I first signed up I tried to do MrK, but that wasn't available, so I just added JimmerJammer to the front of it. But seriously, whatever is easiest is cool.

ha! pad squad over here...i know sd supposedly doesn't have 'real' fans in sports, and that the dodgers are supposedly your 'real' nemesis, but i hate the giants regardless. although you gotta give their fans props, they outnumber padres fans whenever they are in town.

i'm gonna go ahead and warn you that i might bring up barry zito a lot (biggest pitcher contract in history), and also 2002, now that i know you are a giants fan.

Yeah, Zito was/is a joke. But if you do that, I'll have to bring up Matt Cain and Timmy, and then that joke is over.

lincecum is a stud, i saw him beat the pads at pac bell last year...the yankees will get him somehow.

i'll figure out other embarassing giants storylines so i can have the last laugh at some point.
