I'll never forget the fun of aural skills (not oral 🙄) classes where you could always tell who performed on what instrument. Pianists could never figure out the rhythm. Percussionists struggled with the pitch. And the vocalists were just clueless.

I miss those classes.

i hated chorus. our music teacher was this fat wad with an equally fat wad of a dog. the thing was a beagle basset mix and severely overweight.

i have all of it done except for the education essay. filling out forms and stuff is easy for me to do at work during downtime or while on hold on the phone.

I am falling behind on doing m secondaries. Here are the schools that I still need to finish by this week.

2. Loma Linda
3. Georgetown
4. UTSW
5. UNT
6. UIC

too much to do, especially that 5000 characters for Georgetown.

how did i manage to forget to include my summer job for this year and last year on amcas? what was i thinking? maybe because it's mentioned in one of my essays, and i have full page about it in my other essay....i feel ridiculous right now.

I just got home, and I got SLU's (which I've actually already finished) and an email from VCU saying that they received my primary. Boo. Another teaser email.
But I think I might have hot water tonight.

I only received the teaser e-mail from VCU and my status for Wake Forest changed. So no actual secondaries. Which is great b/c I still have 3 (almost 2 now) to work on and I'm planning on having a nice weekend out w/ some friends.

did u guys who did SLUs fill out the optional essay? I dont want to put why SLU, but im not sure if i should just post some random diversity/why im special essay in their either...it doesnt seem like bostons optional essays or suny downstates where optional=do it or else. .

I'm using my Baylor "anything else non-AMCAS you want to add" which talks about relating guitar to medicine (sounds weird, but it works). I put guitar down as one of my ECs but barely mentioned anything about it, so I wrote a nice essay for Baylor.
I don't think it could hurt me, right? And I have nothing else of use to mention.
I'm treating it as an optional essay I need to do because there are no other essays. But their phrasing of it makes it seem very unimportant.
