I think once I submit/mail my Wake and Loyola secondaries tomorrow, I'll just be waiting for a while. My other four are Emory (long wait), OHSU (wait), and 2 screened (UNC=ridiculous long shot, Vandy=long shot).
I've already written my Emory and OHSU and just need a final proofread on the ones I'm holding right now, so unless a prompt changes, I'm basically done.
 
i'm just waiting on harvard. hopefully i'll get that done almost as soon as it comes in and then i'll be FINISHED WITH SECONDARIES.
 
oh wait. i misread. i thought your next one would be 7000 but it's just 6700. nevermind, you'll be boring as usual 😛

I liked stony brooks prompts🙂. it seems like we are all wrapping up 2ndaries finally🙂...now just months of waiting and for me looking at the several rejections and bad news i keep getting in email haha...🙁

My sneaking suspicion is that the endless waiting to come may make essay writing and secondary completion seem somewhat pleasant in a productive-feeling kind of way... I'd rather be doing something that feels like it's helping my application, you know? 😛

haha im glad you liked them, i'm not sure what I should write for the current issue in healthcare one b/c I'm sure all the issues are really overwritten about. I can't really motivate myself to write the 2 of stony's that i haven't done until I get it since they're long and i would be extra sad if I did it then they changed. I'm sure you'll get some good news soon!!!😳

yah there is absolutely nothing you can write about whats the biggest issue in heathcare that 1000 others arent writing...but i dont think thats a bad thing. As long as it comes across genuine and a tad knowledagble i think its fine...at least thats what im telling myself🙂. Becuase what i wrote about certianly they have seen before.

ahha the biggest problem is there are too many fatasses and people dont want to stop killing themselves eating mcdonalds and cold stone...if only you could be that truthful 😛

I was thinking that too, but then I realized I could play a ton of Madden 2010, or go to a bunch of baseball games, or movies, or whatever. 👍
 
I really wish I could have afforded to send out one BS application. Especially for a school that had "Write an autobiography" as a secondary essay. Being able to send out an application where the first line is, "My mother and my father, a doctor, were murdered before my very eyes when I was but six years old," and later goes on to say, "It is then that I became The Dark Knight," and ends with, "And now, though, I fight crime at night, my goal is to fight cancer by day."

haha dude i so wanted to do that...but then id be too scared that school would contact other schools or something lol

haha im already a ceritifed spy for both the FBI and CIA, can't go into detail further then that :laugh:
I 'almost' applied because I was burnt out after a 22 credit semester, and then MCAT prep/MCAT taking/internship/summer class this summer. decided i no longer cared to graduate in 3 years, might as well live for 2 years before i die for 7-9 😀

woah, woah, just because I can't legally drink and do not possess the necessary physiology to grow facial hair doesn't mean you... actually i guess that does mean i am a 'young one.'

i think im going to end my 1 week SDN abstinence now. good to be back! if anyone's wondering what 1 week of cold turkey did for me, -> 11 secondaries written and sent.

p.s. im sad i missed the starcraft discussion last night 🙁
