im gettin the hang of this fantasy stuff...my team is gonna rock ksmi's. it might fall to everyone else's but the Rubber Duckies are gonna rock the doodoo outta her team!!
 
do we need to put the THE in our team name?

Not necessary for my team, but if I were to guess, I would say the "the" is assumed.

So... I just noticed the draft time... I will be flying to Miami during that time! How will that affect my game??

Oh gosh, I wish! I am applying there though! I tried the whole "in the area" email thing to no avail. I'm going down there to visit friends for the weekend.

Well are you guys planning on actually drafting your guys or letting the computer do it for you? If you were just going to go by the computer rankings, you don't have to actually be there anyways.

Not unless you want to change the computer's order. It has the average top players from everyone's draft, so it's usually a good choice for beginners.

when ranking your players, which catergory are you guys looking at most?

slash do you rank the top 5 so that you have all the positions covered??

All of the categories are equally important; points are flashiest, but you still only get one point in fantasy for winning that category. Ranking your top 5 to have all positions covered doesn't make any sense because you won't have the top 5 picks in the draft anyways.

If you don't know what to do, honestly the best thing for newbies is to probably let the computer do its thing and then make adjustments via free agency and trades later to get enough players at all of the positions.

Why don't you just make it so that everyone who wants in w/ enough posts automatically gets in? It's not like anyone is ever actually going to say no.
