Is everybody cool with the draft time? It's set for 10/28 at 6 PM PDT. The latest it can be pushed back is 11/1. I'd prefer to do it on the 28-31 so we have a little bit of time with our rosters, though.
 
It's good for me. I think redrower and someone else (jackson?) wanted to push it back, but if they're just going to use the computer rankings, there's no reason to. Check with them, though. There are only a very few set of times that I can do it, though, and that happens to be one of them.

i can get a flight + 4 night hotel at miami for 164 total

but the car rental and parking will kill it (like an added $200)

stayclassy-i cant stop doing quizzes on sporcle ugh!! so far i can name 28/45 of the european countries
 
I'd actually never heard of sporcle before you guys yesterday. I'll have to try it next week, after my exam :scared:

I've never played, but I'm hoping to get addicted now that I have more free time. I hear a lot about it.

I've never understood why people don't just google all the answers for sporcle. maybe i'll find out when I start to play.

All 50 states in 2:40. One state every 3.2 seconds. That's way too slow.🙁
 
you guys need to go onto doing the more fun quizzes, this is how we prep for trivia night/quizzo (which is huge in philly)
 
Trivia night is awesome.... but damn it scares me to think I'm going up against guys who prepare for it haha!

nevermind then 🙂 i know exactly what you mean actually. i did not apply to any NYC schools either, but I did apply to Rochester. I want to go to a good school in a (relatively) cheap and hassle-free town. so if you are the same way, Madison would be an ideal example of this! I applied to Chicago schools because I live here, but the idea of having to take the el to class every day makes me feel quite nauseous.

Speaking of nauseous I have my first interview tomorrow . . . AAH. I feel halfway between this :soexcited: and this :barf:

edit- to clarify about people smack-talking madison, it wasnt about the school, it was just people complaining about the smallness of the town. so if you arent trying to get into a big city then this should not concern you 🙂

haha im pretty good at the euro and asian countries i can usually get like ~95%.. told u its addicting! I have done like half the quizzes on that site

Also i hope this isn't too late but I just found out I have a basketball game during the draft (8-930pm est) - if you wanted to make it maybe a day earlier/later that would be cool? If not, it's not a huge deal, i just am not a fan of the whole auto-draft personally

Definitely can't do a day early. Not sure yet about a day later.
 
i mean it doesnt really matter i just didn't realize that it was on a wednesday night which isn't great for me
 
If people want to change the draft date, post your suggestion in the FB group on the discussion page for fantasy bball. If we get some sort of consensus we can do that. Basically the options are the 28th-31st. We could also do an hour or two later on the 28th, but that's getting pretty late for east coast folks.

I just posted on the group; essentially, any time on the 28th works for me no matter how late; however, if we're going to move the date, I need to know soon.
