lol same here...luckily i only have 3 classes to graduate but im getting owned...im praying for Cs haha. I just cant care enough to study anymore. though considering theres a decent chance im going to be a reapplicant...i should care more 🙂

Haha we had one of those at our med school orientation. Ours was the only one that didn't break. And that was the end of me being at the top of my med school class :d

We got some tissues, though. But 8 straws and tape? How would you get that to work? Did anyone's not break?

That sounds pretty fun.

👎 to labs that make you come in extra "on your own time," especially when the teachers think you should have no problem doing it (MY CLASS IS TEH IMPORTANZ).

Yeah, that's how my most recent test was. But apparently everyone did bad, so he curved by ~20pts. I ended up with some kind of A, though, but I haven't officially found out yet.

Lamest of the lame. They act like lab is the only thing we should concentrate on. There's a particular one me and ksmi know...

serious labs are the worst they are soo time consuming and so useless. So glad this is my last lab i ever have to take! 🙂

bb can u tell me how the drexel area is? Im going there soon staying with a student host. I think its not the ghetto like temple right? I wish i knew more about drexel, sorta just randomly going there lol. drexel has free student hosts too! is that normal? lol my other ones charged me, maybe i should pay for the dudes dinner to be nice.

Your other student host programs charged you?! That's crazy... I've been on 6 different student host expeditions and have never been charged... I always just bought dinner. Where did they charge and how did they????

haha yah i was charged 40 dollars i was like seriously...well that is cheaper then a hotel but still kinda messed up imo. Creighton charges you via paypal...

1) I can't believe they charged you...times are rough :/

2) I interviewed at Drexel the other week. I have mixed feelings on it. I love the PIL program they offer...makes their large class really like two different med schools (PIL = 70 ppl, IFM = 180ppl). The interview day was unimpressive...mostly sat around bored all day making awkward convo with the other interviewees. Had to write an essay on an ethical dilemma, but you get all day to write it. Drexel is in a nice area (although, there is absolutely nothing to do in that neighborhood). Everything you need to know about the school they'll tell you in their intro PowerPoint presentation.

Everybody listen up. Instead of sending me chocolate (and giving me more reason to gain 20 lbs.) how about everybody take a moment at some point this week, pour yourself a big old glass of *insert your fav beverage here* and toast to the light at the end of the tunnel (with respect to this long friggin' process). 👍
