Of course! 😀 And I always liked my Disney movies even though I didn't really touch them in college, but I randomly ran into a group of people who all enjoy them in med school, so getting together tossing in a movie that always has a happy ending is good for the inner child and makes for a nice study break 😛

Yeah, for sure. But for me, nothing will ever beat the old school Disney; I just prefer the older animation style even if it's not as "fancy." 🙂

Can't go this Friday, finals next week 🙁 And my big Disney group is all going home Saturday, so I guess we'll have to watch it apart. Oh well.
 
OH HELL YES! I love college. We have cram jam tonight, which means free food for the whole campus! (And it's usually awesome food!)

Plus apparently another organization is gonna have Cafe du Monde beignets at 8 in the lobby of one of the dorms. AND THEN all this week they'll be free coffee (yuck) and pastries (yum) from 12 am - 6 am. Not to mention any other organizations that decide to do something.

I will NOT starve! Yay!

I just don't understand this! How is CDM closed? Apparently it happens because you and ksmi have seen it, but they're supposed to be 24/7! What could close CDM!?

Well, both times I went to NOLA were soon after Hurricane Katrina, so I understand why it was closed... What are beignets anyway?

Until I talked to Tulane students, I didn't know there were schools that did have +/-! :laugh:

I'm not a fan of that petty stuff. Has the straight scale worked to my advantage - mostly. I've seen people get their GPA's slaughtered by plus/minus scales.
 
man i think it would be hard with no +/- ... there is absolutely nothing in between an A and a B except a gaping void

Trust me, I prefer the gaping void.
 
I'm from a non +/- school. I've definitely benefited from it...there were a couple classes where I probably would have had an A-. But I would have had A+s in Organic, so that's all that matters! My one B would have been a B+, though. I wouldn't have a 3.97, though

We don't get A+'s. So no way to counter the A-. Once you get an A-, your 4.0 is forever shot.
 
i found it weird when high schoolers could graduate with gpa's way way above a 4.0 by taking AP classes

aw we've all done no no's at interviews. if you want i can tell you all about how i ruined my chances at duke 😀

Don't beat yourself up over it, what's done is done. No interviewee is going to be perferct, so you never know what they're going to overlook/ignore.
