I was quoted way more than I expected. Especially since I don't know as much as the other two people about what's going on right now anyway.

My mom has informed me that she has printed it out and added it to "my file". She's totally serious by the way. She saves everything, and it's all in a filing cabinet. I can't believe my mom has a file on me.

Thanks for your help! Yeah, Green Brier is on Green St. (without an e), it's out there a ways, like a 20 min. bus ride from the medical center, which is the downside.

Huron Towers is on Fuller Court, and it's really close to the medical school. It's newer, do they know anything about it? I'll be seeing it tomorrow, so it's not a big deal if your friends haven't heard of it. Anyway, thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it! 🙂

They don't know anyone in Huron Towers. But I would recommend anything that's closer man. You don't wanna be super far away ya know? Good luck in your search though. You're only half an hour from metro Detroit, so if you wanna grab something to eat or visit OU then holla at me 🙂

OU is in the tourney and U of M isn't 😛

If you wanna party this weekend I'm sure my friends can find something @ u of m as well... just know you'll probably be partying with the football team.

Haha, whats hilarious is that I visited Oklahoma before I knew my OU even existed...

Let me just say, Oklahoma has some hot girls. I mean Oakland is nothing to play with because we have some gorgeous girls as well, but Oklahoma has some nice girls. Honestly though; Oakland impressed me more than Oklahoma. Norman is a beautiful city and a really cool college town, but the actual college didn't win me over.

Edit: attractiveness of the female population of the University was one of the top things I was looking for in an undergraduate institution.

guitar was fun!! there was a 7 year old, 2 middle schoolers, another college aged kid, and an 80 year old so i'm very glad it wasn't all little kids at least. we learned a and e chords, i'm gonna practice a lot so i have them perfect for next week🙂

Yeah, but none of those schools offered me full rides lol. Neither did Oklahoma, but I have relatives who live in Oklahoma City, so I wanted to see what it was about. I think per capita, like for only having 18k students 14k of which are undergrad, OU has a really high hot girl ratio. Michigan State is famous for having hot girls, but they have almost 50k students. Seriously though, in a class of 100 at OU you easily have 10-20 datable girls and like 3-5 dimes. Unless of course it's an upper level science class or an engineering class, but you still get some surprise hotties in classes you wouldn't expect.

I don't think it's awesome, I think it's embarassing. But Michigan has a bad economy, so they are trying to lure in those who are being held off by the economy. A ton of our students get financial aid as well, I think it's like 80% are on some type of financial aid or scholarship.

We're the Golden Grizzlies, but ESPN always forgets to mention the Golden.

We adapted a secondary mascot for basketball this year, but on it's first appearance it tried to dunk off a trampoline and missed and landed on the court... It hasn't made an appearance since then. Clawz, we miss you!!!!

Haha. My reality is U of M as my #1. Then I would have to consider good schools in locations I like, i.e. USC, Stanford, Northwestern, Rosalind Franklin, U Chicago, etc. Then for sure Wayne and Oakland. If I only got accepted to Wayne and OU it would be such a hard decision. OU wins in location, but it is a new med-school and the facilities are definitely not as nice as Wayne's. OU will build new facilities soon, but not in time for any of us to be able to use them. I don't know, I'll decide on where I want to go when the time comes. I'll definitely throw an app to Harvard though if I get a 36+ on the MCAT. It can't hurt. Prestige is nice. It shouldn't be everything, but it's nice. I would rather drive a ferrari than a buick, but both get the job done and if the ferrari doesn't make sense i.e. you live in michigan or colorado, then you get the buick, ya dig?

I thought it was pretty obvious that I am not the laurels and tradition kind lol. I love my school because I can do whatever the heck I want (and I do...do whatever the heck I want) and I get the resources to accomplish my goals.
I feel like it fits my "young and ambitious" spirit 🙂

Seriously though....totally not hating on Harvard or any of the Ivies. They are respected for a reason.
