haha, I hear ya. FSU was my second choice while applying but once the interview happened, they became #1.. Then Jefferson did, then they waitlisted me so I re-convinced myself FSU is #1. Which I still believe, so I guess in some ways it's true? .. Just another way this whole process is a mind-screw :d
 
apparently 4th years also found out if they matched today. crazy times

Before I started, Vandy was #1 and Baylor was #1.2.

After everything was said and done, I think my order was Baylor, Vandy, UVA... everybody else. Unfortunately, LSU was #15 of 16. :laugh:

Alright I am in the same boat with that but what are you thinking! I totally gave that info up like 100 pages ago.

Yeah, maybe its just me but going into this game the whole "financial package" factor in desicion making had never crossed my mind. Seems as we get further along it has become oH so important. Just weird.

Tell me about it. I was ready to leave my state at any cost, but now I can actually see the numbers and they're not pretty.

Yeah my friend at Buffalo just heard that he matched into neurosurgery but hasnt gotten to see his list yet. I didnt know it worked liked that.

Yeah but I guess that if you're in an super competitive field or if you only had a few interviews, just knowing that you matched has to be such a relief.

OHH yeah, he wasnt sure hed match because its so competitive so hes off the wall. lol

I didn't know either. I think I like that better, though - it means you don't have to get publicly embarrassed in the green room and can start working on the scramble earlier.

You don't get to know until Match Day where you are going. The break is to allow those who didn't match to find somewhere before Match Day.

Yeah man, its crazy how sobering its becoming or sober we are becoming or something... BUt I am like , wtf after a 5-9 years res I could owe MAJOR MAJOR

esp at my top choices of BU and Georgetown.

idk i feel like if i pulled a rashard lewis, at least some one would make an inspiring story out of it someday. This process, you suffer alone, and in the dark.

Ha, thats a good point. Woops I didnt get into neurosurge everyone. Yeah I think its freakin awesome. Personally I will go whereever I have to as well. He's psyched.
 
Well, those 2 still got drafted in the first round. Rashard was a top10 prospect and slipped all the way to the second round, with no guaranteed contract

it almost looked like it was going to work out for Quinn too....except ....um....he sucked.
 
More like suffer on SDN with people you dont know who slowly become friends because we are all suffering together..

Seriously though, unless you have applied to medical school you have no idea how stressfull it can be. But I am sure wed all do it all over again.

ill take drew rosenhaus...that guy when isee him i just think sleezy salesman but he must be good because he always gets the job done. Boras on more then a few occasions has failed miserably and actually hurt his player. Boras seems only good with the huge names and not so muhc for the average guy...so i guess in this scenario boras would be good for jla, jolt and ksmi but would fail me and you hardcore met :laugh:
