I wish i knew how to cook. Everynight my wife doesnt cook its like pbnj or turkey sandwhich for me lol. Or easy stuff from costco. Thank god for costco 🙂
 
The new overtime rule makes the kicker that much more useless. The NFL shows us yet again that special teams means nothing to anyone. It's horrible. Now playoff games will end on incomplete passes instead of a score.

In the really tight games, the scores jump to 50-48 or whatever when the game ended at 17-17. The final is not indicative of a team's defense or offense when you put them on the 25 yard line.

That's why I don't like it. Totally restricts the playbook on both sides of the ball, and eliminates field position battle. It's like a separate game in and of itself.

im not a big fan of kickers anyways. I like the new change actually.
 
They can't do college football's overtime for the NFL due to the betting and the whole Vegas thing. Vegas might have the over under for a game being 30 points, but if you go into overtime you're looking at 70-80 points at least. It's unrealistic.

It's literally destroying any importance they might have. I think it destroys the tradition as well. Like if you score a touchdown you win, but if you only score a field goal you don't win??? It's literally saying special teams doesn't matter at all. How can you score and have it not count, but score in a different way and have it count to win?

I see your point. I didnt think the rules needed to be changed all that much but at least at this point i like the changes. Come playoff time nxt year who knows.

anyone else think its weird how you see all these threads about taking mcat, when to apply, how many to apply to, blah blah etc etc...Its like just last year that was us worrying about the same things that now dont matter. Though im glad ill never go through it again! I have a new found respect for reapps!

Kind of. It just took some effort to go out and buy them. It surprised me that they're not any more expensive than sauces you buy at the grocery.

I had a Wendy's in my apartment complex's parking lot last year. It was awesome. I just had to make sure I walked the other way coming back from school, or I would have had Wendy's everyday for lunch.

If we were all going to the same school, we could totally have had Costco runs.
 
Haha i had contacts for like 2 months during my junior year of high school. i ended up getting what I thought was pink eye cuz I couldn't open one of my eyes (especially outside in sunlight) at all for longer then a second without it watering and closing on me.

I ended up having a piece of plastic lodged in my eye that had to be removed. Never wore contacts again. Now I just wear nothing and use glasses only when i drive at night or watch tv in bed.
 
yea i got a cut in my eye from my contacts. **** was ****ed up for an entire night. it kinda sucked but i loved contacts though
 
Yeah I can't make out anything further than about 6 inches in front of me.

I do have extended wear contacts, so I only have to change them once a month. I wanted Lasik as soon as I turned 22, but these fairly new contacts make me not care so much.

i cant wait to get lasik. Too bad itll be like 10 years before i have any money....but one day ! 😛
 
My contacts tend to make my eyes super bloodshot, so I tend not to wear them unless I need to, though you could probably say that my laziness also prevents me from wearing them...:laugh:

I have no qualms with shoving them into my eyes, though.👍

I'm trying. I was doing a job of keeping it off my mind until about the last week and a half.

I guess as it gets closer and closer to May 15th, I just get more anxious and nervous.
