In other news, LSU-S was all like "pick a school by April 15th" since apparently they start before August 1st and they can do that. There's no way I'm withdrawing from everywhere else without a very good reason and they aren't sending out financial aid until May.

That's messed up that they don't send out financial aid. You don't want to go there anyway, I think we've established that. :laugh:

I even heard that they don't technically start before the 1st, it's just orientation or something like that.

LSU-NO told us about this during the interview that Shreveport would do something like this.

resident? not as frequent as now, but it'd probably be one of my favorite mini-pastimes(you know, things you do when you're free for just a couple minutes).
 
according to the autopsy of that SeaWorld trainer, the whale removed her left arm and part of her scalp as well as damaged her spinal cord. thats hardcore. she should RIP. 🙁

We're not leaving. We are the most epic class thread ever and we will continue to be.

I want us to even occasionally revive this thread in Pre-Allo when we're residents. We cannot let it die. I would be okay if they moved this thread elsewhere, as long as it's not All Students.

It would be sweet if we could keep it going as residents... but is that even possible lol? Let's see how things go year 1.

I feel like Met is a good barometer, since he has always been a steady poster
 
I was thinking we could just make new ones for each stage of our lives, like "Class of 2014: Med School Edition" and "Class of 2014: We're Backkkkk...and Armed with MDs."

And we can do the occasional bump of this thread in pre-allo just to show the newbies who's boss.
 
It would be like people resurrecting these old threads from 8 years ago, but the thread would actually be active.

We will keep this thread going until 2014 when we graduate and at least 2021 for when the neurosurgeons (or ortho w/ fellowship) here finish their residencies. We have to share our attending job hunt stories and stresses.

Class of 2014 is pretty legit. And it may right now be killing class of 2015, but my post padding abilities will probably help thrust class of 2016 pretty far.

I'll find a way to stop by here to post once a day or something similar. It only takes a couple of minutes.

I won't camp out here like I do at this current point in my life, though. :laugh:

It;s BOOT CAMP man. We are in it together. Thats why we all camp here. I will deff post once and again for the sake of it. 👍

That can happen. I've had EM residents show me stuff on Youtube or check NFL scores.

It won't be a chore, though - it will be something I want to do. This thread needs to live on.
