Oh, not at all, no. Apparently, female skaters are in high demand and low supply, so anyone who can build up decent speed gets approached. Feels good to be wanted, though.

i dont think we are looking for a playoff series win though. in nyc, basketball and baseball are either win a championship or bust sports. preferably every year. knicks games still sell out and are at minimum $15-$30 for the worst seats so anything short of a title, I think, is unjustified

Idunno. The East playoffs is basically a joke until Magic-Cavs in the ECF; the West seems suddenly wide open with the Lakers completely faltering lately against B-list teams, but I don't think anybody except the Lakers have a real chance in a 7-game series against the Magic or LeBrons.

The offseason will be a heartbreaker for the Knicks. Lee-Johnson for the next 5 years?

Eh. He's easily behind LeBron, Wade, Durant, Melo, Kobe, Roy, and a healthy Ginobili, off the top of my head. The biggest thing that will kill you is paying max money to a guy who can't be a truly elite player; you're basically ensuring you get a 3-6 seed for the next 4 years, which is just outside of truly being a contender but too good to draft someone who can take you to that next level. If you already have, say, Dwight Howard, then it's fine to throw funny money at someone like Rashard Lewis.

He has one of those awkward drives about once every week or so, and invariably our response is always , but we don't complain

Ginobili has been out of his mind good lately, and we're finally beating some good teams. The Lakers suddenly don't look so scary, and we've got Tony Parker coming back. Jefferson is starting to contribute (about time). I guess I don't want to get my hopes up (we ARE a 7th seed right now, after all), but it's not like there's anybody in the west that looks unbeatable right now either... we'll see what happens.
