any literature you can suggest? can't find much reliable info. i mean, the first page that came up claims allergy is the same as cancer and is caused by paranormal waves....

what are you talking about? that sounds very legit.

Ohh Sam, you're so amazing, any guy would be so lucky to be with you, Oh Sam, if I get back together with her, part of me will always feel like I missed out on something with you...

FFS.

What the ef is wrong with the male species?

Sounds like he's taking the easy way out to me. I hate when guys do that. I mean I don't know the situation, but he doesn't need to be doing that shiv. He probably thinks he's letting you down easy that way, so dumb.

man, you should see my car. it's a white car, but you'd think it's yellow  btw, sometimes allergies develop may develop at a random time, i had none until junior year in high school, so you're not in the clear yet :meanie:

🙁
russians are far too awesome to develop these...allergies you speak of!

i duno sammie he sounds like a tool, probs not worth what time you've given him already

Sorry. I just found out so I'm in need of venting or I will go to his place and rip his throat out.

i feel ya, sometimes you just need to get it out.

the last first (blind) date i went on, guy was a douche, and when i didn't go on a 2nd, he said, "i knew i should have tried harder to take you home." ummm, yeah, because that would have made you seem less douche-y. :smack:

Seriously. Ugh. Stupid dumb girl has been keeping him as a backup for SIX MONTHS and as soon as he's like "k-bye" she's all "NO! I'll do whatever you need!" and he's falling for it.

 Truth. I just keep 'em around to use when I need them. To kill bugs and such.
haha i was referring more the the "and such" but I guess since we are in polite company I will stop right there.

btws...I've asked you this before but missed your answer:what does one wear to dinner/day activities at second looks?

In that case, may I interest you in Pyro-Energen? It's the "first electrotherapy or electromedicine device in the world that uses static electricity to eradicate the origin and cause of viral diseases, cancer, and diseases of unknown cause."

It's so powerful it even cures diseases of unknown causes!

Like girls don't do that, I hate it either way 👎

Ha, you remind me of this professor from Cameroon. He was doing some work at my lab with a tech who has a cold. She suggested that maybe they should work together another time so he doesn't catch her cold, to which he replied "Oh, don't worry, all Africans susceptible to diseases have already died out."

why bother with diagnoses if you can just cure it right away? methinks we might be wasting time with this medical school thing if this pyro energen secret gets out...

 I was thinking along the "and such" lines as well, but nothing seemed appropriate to say besides killing bugs.

Business casual, generally, but you never know. You could always email the person in charge and ask what they expect us in.

Like girls don't do that, I hate it either way 👎

Never said we didn't.

in that case, forget med school. i'm going to open up shop where i treat people with diseases of unknown causes by rubbing balloons vigorously in their hair and then shocking them wherever it hurts

eh I feel your pain sammie.

When you say guys are stupid - I agree - but girls can be pretty stupid too (not saying that about you - if you remember I'm going through girl crud right now too...)

Guess I'm saying boy-girl interactions in this realm in general are annoying and stupid. So I'm :bang: away with you.

I tend to be direct with girls I like. Now it's good because the answer is plain and there's no beating around the bush. But when I crash and burn - boy is it obvious

btw my birthday party is on Friday sammie - I'd invite you so we can get piss drunk together and drown all this stupidity; but I think you are a few states away 😀

sammie for me - it was the classic "it's not you - it's me!" line. Well dressed up... but still the same thing. You'd think women have seen enough movies/heard enough stories to understand that even GUYS know that's a BS line (90% of the time anyway). But closure's closure I guess?

only 2 more months!

i know, i have a countdown on my personal calender w/ US games highlighted.

Seriously. Ugh. Stupid dumb girl has been keeping him as a backup for SIX MONTHS and as soon as he's like "k-bye" she's all "NO! I'll do whatever you need!" and he's falling for it.

i dislike boys who can't have conviction for one girl (at a time). no matter how pretty he is, not worth this ish.

i should start telling boys, "sorry, no waitlisting allowed. either accept or reject, then move on."

Can'tttttt wait. It's probably my favorite sporting event.👍

Off to bed. 😴

amen, better than olympics if you ask me. gnite zona!

ok well i have to sleep.
tired after a victoriously awesome day

throat, nose, even some itchiness inside the ears and i can't scratch the ****ing thing. zyrtec takes care of most, except the nose, which is still really annoying.

The development of allergic inflammation

Stephen J. Galli1,2, Mindy Tsai1 & Adrian M. Piliponsky1
Top of pageAbstract

Allergic disorders, such as anaphylaxis, hay fever, eczema and asthma, now afflict roughly 25% of people in the developed world. In allergic subjects, persistent or repetitive exposure to allergens, which typically are intrinsically innocuous substances common in the environment, results in chronic allergic inflammation. This in turn produces long-term changes in the structure of the affected organs and substantial abnormalities in their function. It is therefore important to understand the characteristics and consequences of acute and chronic allergic inflammation, and in particular to explore how mast cells can contribute to several features of this maladaptive pattern of immunological reactivity.

let me know if you need the full length, this is a great review article

nah, med school still has its use. i'd make a more convincing pyro energen salesman with a md :meanie:

be careful of copyright infringement, because it appears from pyro energen's website that that's how it works:

haha I should tell that to the girl who had me on her waitlist

Good thing my first reaction to finding out that someone's playing a game w/ me is :uhno: "peace homeslice"

😕

If you're referring to Spursy, she can have him.

no, it was in reference to your "i just keep them around to squash bugs and such" comment and sammich's "she's just keeping him as a backup" line 😀

this talk of backups and waitlists reminds me of that how i met your mother episode where ted has a girl "hooked" as a backup, while he's a backup for someone else, who in turn is a backup for another person

i can't keep a backup even if i tried. when i fall for a girl i just become too disinterested with anyone else to muster up the effort to keep one, which i suppose is good for the girl but terrible for me.

Heh that was an awesome episode. Well - that's pretty much expected from how I met your mother...

After seeing that show, I feel like I should've been an architect because Ted seems to go out w/ some really hot women. Then again, looks like every one of them turns out to be whacko in some way... so maybe it's best I'm not going down that path

I had a friend do an internship somewhere else last summer and he came back to tell me about this odd love polygon there. People had primary and secondary girlfriends and were married but hooking up with their husband's best friend and such. So apparently this stuff happens in real life too.

awww head over heels for the girl. terrible for you that you can't have a backup?

ps watching blood, sweat and takeaways on discovery health and these food fast junkies from the uk are digging mud levees in an indonesian prawn farm. its crazy.

That's a good and healthy thing. I don't think I've ever had a "backup" but I'm a major flirt. It's not good for the long-distance relationship-ish thing I'm in right now. Makes me feel kinda bad.

Thanks man, reading it right now

I'm w/ dingy. To me it just doesn't make sense. If I'm dating a girl, it's because I'm genuinely interested in her.

Besides, if I do somehow get interested in another girl more than the current girl, I'll man up and break up w/ the current one before even considering the other one. Just seems the right thing to do.

right. a friend. 😉

jk. but yeah, i'm not surprised it happens in real life. writers base their stories off something, and people do relate to stuff on tv

this sentence reads like you just did some madlibs

being a flirt is ok, long as they know it's just flirting 😳

how it should be. head over heels. otherwise...whats teh point!

but how can i become a pimp like this!

Ugh long distance. Very disenchanted with the idea after what happened with my foray into it (girl I was dating for 4 years, survived 1 more year LD and then BOY did stuff hit the fan). I'm not discouraging you or anything ksmi - but LD is a LOT of work (from both parties).

I feel bad for any couple who is really into each other when they have to go through LD - relationships are hard as is

Dude, I've been trying to figure this out for the last 7 years.

I haven't gotten very far. Then again; I hate research so maybe that's it?

I'm a major flirt too. I feel like I'm just being social.....but it usually ends with a date proposal.

I think it's apparent from this convo that we need to learn from ksmi 😉
