Around 64K/yr. with no scholarship money. This is after I decided I wanted to remain in the Chicagoland area, withdrew every else but UIC and Pritzker. I saw my award 2 days before Loyola second-look, and I literally just felt depressed at second-look. I know they don't hand out a lot of scholarship money, but getting zero, and the high expense just made me really feel unwanted 🙁


...oh and I ran into my goof-off "friend" that I knew from highschool but hadn't seen until second look and found out he was getting 10K/yr from them. Double 🙁
 
That was the busiest hour in between classes ever. Went to the bank, grocery shopping, got a car wash, put groceries back at my apt, filled up gas, and now I'm doing this. [sigh]

At least I don't have much else to do that's non-studying/school related for this week.

Wow. My dog just had a seizure a few minutes ago in my kitchen. Her first one... yelping, tightening muscles, stopped breathing for ~15 seconds, urinated everywhere. So scary.... =/

did u get that 7k in scholarship every year though? should be a lot cheaper 2-4 right (except 3 where they have like secret ass clinical fee)

dang that sucks man, but if uve had her since second grade she must be lile 100 years old in dog yrs.

i think most places do it on a year to year basis, but if u dont screw up u should be able to retain it. even after the first yr ill still have to get like 48k a yr in loans or something
 
yea pretty much, if they can give me 20k, which i doubt, then it'd be comparable, otherwise itd be too much

I withdrew from the Pritzker continued list, so you have one less person to compete with. I hope you get in, but if not you will love UIC. Every other person is a fellow Illini.

:laugh: of course not 😛 i withdrew from tufts and baylor a week or so ago, and decided after revisit weekend at hopkins that it wasn't a good enough fit to sway me from staying with my boyfriend in boston (with better monies too)

I hate this process btw. I called WashU in February to make sure my financial aid stuff was done. They said it was. I called today, and apparently they are still missing something (that I sent, but they lost). Not happy.
